  1. goal

GOAL: West Brom 2-0 Barnsleypublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Adam Reach (40 mins)

Not a good day for relegated Barnsley.

Brilliant lobbed finish from Adam Reach for the Baggies.

Managerless Barnsley have won six games all season and it looks VERY unlikely they're going to make it seven today now.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Bristol City

Huddersfield now leapfrog Nottingham Forest into third and would face Luton in the play-offs.

IF nothing changes in the next 50 minutes or so. Unlikely.

  3. goal

GOAL: West Brom 1-0 Barnsleypublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Karlan Grant penalty (37 mins)

Karlan Grant gives the home side the lead from the spot after Jayson Molumby was felled in the area by Clarke Odour.

VERY little riding on this one.

  4. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 1-0 Blackpoolpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Jonson Clarke-Harris (36 mins)

Peterborough won't be playing in the Championship next season but they're enjoying their last day before they move down to League One.

They lead Blackpool through Jonson Clarke-Harris' 12th goal of the season. Kwame Poku slips him through before he rounds goalkeeper and tucks the ball away.

  5. goal

    Dael Fry OG (35 mins)

It's gone from bad to worse for Middlesbrough, who have one massive task on their hands now.

Emil Riis made a decent break down the left and somehow snuck past two Boro defenders, who really should have dealt with him.

He got into the box and took a shot, which seemed to go under the keeper and got a little deflection from centre-back Dael Fry into the back of the net.

  6. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield Town 1-0 Bristol Citypublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Harry Toffolo (33 mins)

Well, you don't see goals like that very often!

A nifty bit of skill from Harry Toffolo in the box sees him flick the ball past the Bristol City defence and then fire low into the corner.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Millwall

Millwall need a lot of results to go their way to move up to sixth, but they also need to take all three points themselves.

They've just had a golden chance to go 1-0 up, with Shaun Hutchinson totally unmarked in acres of space in the box as George Saville's cross came in. But he somehow missed the target and it went high over the bar.

  8. Postpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Sheff Utd 3-0 Fulham

    Marco Silva makes a change.

Nathaniel Chalobah is injured and Josh Onomah takes his place for the away side.

They just need to get through to the break without this getting worse. Not that it really matters to the title winners.

  9. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 Blackburnpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    John Buckley (29 mins)

What a goal at St Andrews!

John Buckley starts a wonderful move, passing out to Ben Brereton Diaz. He finds Ryan Hedges in the middle, who lays it off for Buckley - who is miles out - and smashes an absolute thunder strike into the top corner.

    Gorgeous!

That could a nice parting gift for outgoing boss Tony Mowbray.

  10. Rangers pressing onpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Swansea 0-0 QPR

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

There is not much riding on this fixture, but Queens Park Rangers are playing like a side who are still listening to their outgoing manager.

Mark Warburton has taken the bold approach to combat Swansea's possession game, pushing his players high up the pitch and urging them to press their opponents.

Swansea struggled as a result in the opening quarter, with the home fans showing some frustration as they struggled to go forward.

Russell Martin's team have improved, though, and were unlucky not to go ahead when Hannes Wolf tapped in but was denied by what looked a marginal offside decision.

  11. Postpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Hull City 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh has had a few chances for the home side but he's yet to really force a save from Brice Samba in the Forest goal.

  12. 'Fulham must have been having a party'published at 12:58 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Sheff Utd 3-0 Fulham

    Aadam Patel
    BBC Squad Goals

Fulham must have been having a party because it couldn't be much easier for Sheffield United. Three goals in the opening 25 minutes.

It looks like it's going to be a Yorkshire derby on Friday night against Huddersfield.

  13. goal

GOAL: Sheff Utd 3-0 Fulhampublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Sander Berge (25 mins)

Are Fulham going to go from winning a game 7-0 to losing one by the same scoreline?!

Sander Berge makes it 3-0 to the home side and the majority of the packed out Bramall Lane are having an absolute blast.

Iliman Ndiaye gets in down the inside left for the home side and squares for the big Norwegian to score from six yards out.

Fulham's defending for all three goals could charitably be described as lax.

  14. goal

GOAL: Preston North End 1-0 Middlesbroughpublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Alan Browne (24 mins)

Middlesbrough's job just got an awful lot harder this afternoon...

It's Preston captain Alan Browne who has given the home side the lead, with a very stylish goal after a period of pressure from the hosts.

Brad Potts sent a cross into the box and Browne cooly chested the ball down, then volleyed it into the back of the net.

  15. goal

GOAL: Sheff Utd 2-0 Fulhampublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Iliman Ndiaye (21 mins)

It gets better and better for the Blades!

They double their money against the title winners and barring a pretty unlikely comeback they are going to be in the play-offs now.

Iliman Ndiaye scores in a third successive game.

Jean Michael Seri slips in the midfield for the away side and Sander Berge says thanks very much and plays in Morgan Gibbs-White and he unselfishly squares for Ndiaye to sweep home.

    Huddersfield Town 0-0 Bristol City

Antoine Semenyo has been one of the stand-out players for Bristol City this season and he's had two very good chances in quick succession to put the Robins ahead this opening 15 minutes

The first saw him denied as he tried to tap the ball through the keeper Jamal Blackman at the far post from close range. The second, he took a shot from distance with Blackman again on hand to keep him out. Still goalless.

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 Coventrypublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Viktor Gyokeres (14 mins)

Coventry have burst into life after a quiet start at the bet365 Stadium and it's Viktor Gyokeres for his 17th goal of the season.

Jamie Allen split the defence with a pinpoint pass before Gyokeres slotted past the onrushing Stoke goalkeeper Josef Bursik.

    Preston North End 0-0 Middlesbrough

Not a great start for Middlesbrough, who need a victory today if they stand any chance of sneaking into the top six.

They have keeper Luke Daniels to thank though for keeping the score 0-0, as Preston were centimetres from getting the opening goal.

Daniel Johnson did well to get behind the Boro defence in the left corner, he pulled the ball back to Emil Riis who's shot at goal was tipped over the bar by Daniels' fingertips.

  20. Postpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 7 May 2022

    Hull City 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Forest have made seven changes for this one after they missed out on taking their battle for automatic promotion to the last day with defeat at Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The home side have had the better of it so far but it's very much end of term stuff.
