Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

    How has that gone in?

I think Abdoulaye Doucoure has to clear that on the line.

Poor defending. Vitaliy Mykolenko gets in Jordan Pickford’s way when he goes to clear it.

This home crowd are shellshocked. The loudest noises now are of frustration and desperate calls for the Blues to get stuck in.

    Jordan Ayew

    Disaster for Everton!

The Blues are imploding. Seamus Coleman allows Jean-Philippe Mateta to nick the ball off him and drive forward. His cross is headed away for Wilfried Zaha to fire back a bobbling shot that bounces around in the middle before Jordan Ayew pokes in.

Everton had multiple chances to avert it. Now they have a mountain to climb.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

Corner to Burnley now as Ashley Barnes heads Charlie Taylor's cross back into the centre but Calum Chambers hooks it behind.

Tyrone Mings heads the corner out to Dwight McNeil, whose shot is blockd by Matty Cash's head.

  5. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

This game was never going to be a classic. So far, so goodish for Burnley. A draw takes them out of the relegation zone and keeps their fate in their hands.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

And now Jordan Ayew is booked, also for flying in late on Anthony Gordon.

Everton are furious. Even Jordan Pickford has sprinted half the length of the pitch to have his say.

It's not a pretty tackle by any means, but it's not wild. Everton know, though, that they need to find a foothold in this game however they can.

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Goodison Park

Palace are managing this game really well. There's only so far that passion and fight can take you when you're up against what looks like a superior team so far.

The visitors are keeping the ball well and look dangerous every time they march forward. Everton are battling, but struggling.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Will Hughes picks up the first yellow card of the game after sliding in on Anthony Gordon to leave the young forward on the turf.

    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

Daniel Amartey gives the ball away to N'Golo Kante and he slides a pass through to Romelu Lukaku but the Leicester man makes up for his earlier error with a well-timed sliding challenge in the penalty area and a good recovery to deny the Belgian.

  11. Postpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

Best chance of the game and it's Villa's John McGinn. Emiliano Buendia pulls a short corner back to the Scot, who curls a first-time stunner towards the top corner from 20 yards. It's well clawed away by Nick Pope.

    Clinton Morrison

Wilfried Zaha is wanting to pull out all the party tricks today.

He is playing the occasion and is buying free-kicks.

The Everton fans are getting frustrated.

    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

    Matt Jarvis
Former Wolves & Norwich winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a strike! That is a typical James Maddison goal. He's picked up the ball at the edge of the box and shifted into his right foot.

He's curled a delightful ball into the bottom corner. It's their first attack of the game.

Andrew Johnson: Defending a free kick like that will get Everton relegated from the championship, never mind the Premiership.

David Ljunggren: And there in a nutshell is why Everton are in such trouble. Time and time again opposition players are given the freedom of the box. Crazy

  19. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

Oh, Michael Keane with a crucial intervention.

Palace work it well down the left and the centre-back has to get in to stop Jean-Philippe Mateta getting on the resulting cross.

Keane's header behind leads to a corner that comes to nothing.

  20. Postpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 19 May 2022

    Better from the home side.

Seamus Coleman's deep cross from the right is met at the back post by Vitaliy Mykolenko, but he can't find a clean strike and slices wide.
