    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

South Korea will get tired, they have put in a lot of effort.

That is where it could be won or lost with the right substitutions.

South Korea are really disciplined. It is great to watch how organised and well drilled they are.

I want to see Darwin Nunez more in the middle towards the goal. He doesn't need to drift out to the left.

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

South Korea launch a ball forward and goalkeeper Sergio Rochet mops up the danger, coming out of his box and heading clear, just like a decent centre-half would do.

That was the first time in the second half that Uruguay have had any sustained pressure. They need to try and get some crosses into the box now they've got Cavani and Nunez in there.

It's been a poor second half. Twenty minutes and injury time for either side to get a goal to leave with the three points.

Edinson Cavani may just provide the spark, he spins and shoots on the edge of the area but sees the effort charged down.

One thing you need to know about Edinson Cavani is if you give him half a chance he will find the back of the net.

Come on, it’s cold, raining and grey outside and I was hoping for some Heung-Min Son-shine! Let’s have some goals please!!

That change makes sense. I would be telling Cavani and Nunez to play high up the pitch and press really high to try and change the pace and intensity of the game.

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I know Edinson Cavani isn't 100% fit but would he have started with Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez a bit wider?

Are they a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2? He is trying to pick out his best formation but you can't do that in a World Cup.

If you didn't know Edinson Cavani had come on, you could probably have guessed. The noise from the Uruguay fans just went up a notch.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

Ex-Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani, the 35-year-old now with Valencia, is getting ready and that is going to be the end of Luis Suarez's involvement.

    Danny Murphy

It was a brilliant pass to release Nunez but he only really had one option in the middle and he couldn't find him.

That is the first little bit we've seen from Uruguay in the second half.

  13. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

Darwin Nunez tries to inject some quality into the match with a burst down the left flank. He gets to the byeline but his cross from a tight angle sees Kim Seung-gyu get his hand to it to deny any Uruguayan getting a touch.

The average positions in this second half show just how little the pattern of the game has changed, with much of the play congested to the middle of the park.

Paulo Bento will be delighted with his South Korea team. The plan would have been to frustrate and play on the counter.

They've had their moments, they created arguably the best chance of the game but the width of the post did save them at the other end.

They look disciplined and fit. They are well in the game.

  16. 'Suarez doesn't really want to run in behind'published at 60 mins

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The problem with Luis Suarez is now he is older he doesn't really want to run in behind like he used to.

I think he would rather have someone up there with him. He is isolated at the moment and that is why he is getting frustrated.

  17. 'Uruguay are carrying Suarez'published at 59 mins

    Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Luis Suarez's physicality doesn't allow him to press and run the channels. He has to rely on the others to get him the ball, but the problem is this South Korea team are good on the ball so Uruguay are carrying him a little bit defensively.

I wouldn't expect to see him on the pitch for too much longer, maybe another 10 minutes or so, and then somebody on who can press a bit more and put Uruguay on the front foot.

The South Korean fans have definitely quietened down while Son Heung-min is receiving treatment. Bit of nerves...

A worry for South Korea and Tottenham fans with Son Heung-min down on the ground after Martin Caceres trod on Son's heel, taking off one of Son's boots in the process.

    That's yellow for Caceres.
