England have reacted really well to going behind by giving the France defence some anxious moments, Kylian Mbappe has been a fleeting presence but what quality he has. He is razor sharp and such a threat.

Fahad: Very negative start by England. Backwards and side way passing will do no good against this France side

Kyle: England players are so scared of Mbappe and forgot to mark all the other France players.

Jay: Southgate coming unstuck against the first decent opposition in a tournament, just like 2018 and 2020.

Leo: France play better one-touch football than England, this is what we lack, we need to be more aggressive.

I think England have a right to be a bit aggrieved here. Not a lot going their way.

The only suggestion I can come up with is that it wasn't in the penalty area but Kane fell in the area, it looked like it, and there's certainly contact in and around the area.

Play on. Oof. That's a big call. Looked a foul to me.

The contact was bang on the edge of the right side of the box. It's getting checked. It was very clumsy.
