Ciaran: Perhaps Joe from Esher (20:32) may like to list his '11 or more' world class City players, compared to Liverpool's 'four or five'? Sounds like an interesting debate...

Alan, Kent: If city have 11 world class players why haven't they won anything yet this season

Darren Stoke: That's why Liverpools 4/5 world class players have won the FA Cup, Carabao Cup. Champions league Finalist. Plus pushed City all the way!

Looks like Jordan Henderson will be coming on for the second half in place of the injured Joe Gomez. So that will mean James Milner dropping into right back.

Milner created five chances for Liverpool in the first half, becoming the oldest player (36 years, 133 days) to create five chances in a Premier League match since Paul Scholes in April 2012 for Man Utd vs QPR (37 years, 144 days).

Southampton's PA system gives us a very loud blast of the Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen" at half-time. Sure this has got absolutely nothing to do with Liverpool fans booing the national anthem before the FA Cup Final at Wembley on Saturday.

It doesn't look great for Joe Gomez walking down the tunnel. I'm not sure whether it's a twist or his muscle. Hopefully it's minor.

It'll be absolutely tragic [if he's a serious injury]. He's a top professional. He's had devastating luck with serious injuries.

Southampton started as we predicted, defensive and compact. Liverpool didn't find their rhythm early on. They came back and Minamino hit them back. Southampton have fallen apart. It's been all Liverpool since.

      All square at the break.

A draw would take the title race to the final day but Manchester City's goal difference would have them all but taking the trophy.
