Yerry Mina is sat on the pitch holding his leg. Seeing the replays it looked very innocuous. He was on the ball and then just suddenly stopped.

Reece James ambles over, looks to be going off but then the board goes up to show it is actually Ben Chilwell making way, along with Mason Mount.

Once again, Everton fans feels shenanigans are afoot with timewasting and boo loudly.

Vitalii Mykolenko is onto a ball over the top and tries to lob Edouard Mendy first time but flicks his effort wide of target.

Boos then ring out as Mendy takes a fair while to take the goal kick, prompting the referee to hold his watch in the air and urge him to hurry it up.

Feels a bit early to be timewasting.

Everton make a change as they look to try and get back into this. Dele Alli is sent on for Dwight McNeil.

This is feeling a bit 'pre-seasony' at the moment.

There's not much, well not any urgency to things and the atmosphere has gone a bit flat.

Ben Chilwell has been caught a few times and he's quite upset because they are occasions that he'd probably get a free kick for last season.

Reece James is booked for taking too long with the ball. It has been a bit of a flat start to this half by Chelsea.

Everton have shown a good response to going behind with Abdoulaye Doucoure lively. He has the ball on the right side of the box and tries to pick out Anthony Gordon but the forward just can't quite connect with the pass.

Jack: Mina with the most unnecessary booking of the season so far, could prove costly further down the line.

A bit of a scramble inside the Chelsea box as Abdoulaye Doucoure sees his shot from a corner blocked before Mason Holgate is denied as he tries to turn in the loose ball.

Dwight McNeil takes the ball into the Chelsea area, he thinks about having a shot but instead decides to try and square to Abdoulaye Doucoure but again Thiago Silva is well placed to make the block.

More great defending by Thiago Silva as he blocks Demarai Gray's shot from inside the area. The ball goes behind for Everton's third corner of the game but it comes to nothing.
