  1. Must win already?published at 14:32 British Summer Time 1 October 2022

    Liverpool v Brighton (15:00 BST)

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Liverpool have not played a game for 18 days, and it is 28 days since their last Premier League game - the Merseyside derby at Everton.

There was no rest, of course, with many players on international duty and it doesn't get much easier from now with 13 games in 42 days coming up.

With so many games in such a short space of time, the Reds' squad is going to be key as they look to propel themselves up the table quickly. They currently sit eighth, 12 points behind leaders Arsenal although Jurgen Klopp's side does have two games in hand.

Still, it feels like this is a game they really must win, especially with the Gunners coming up in their next Premier League game.

It's Arsenal's day without doubt. The highlight of the last 10 minutes has been seeing Aaron Ramsdale turn round and wave to the almost empty Spurs away end.
