There's no space for Arsenal to pass in to as PSV continue to press high in numbers.

Takehiro Tomiyasu handles Cody Gakpo really well following a ball over the top as he gets the right side of the PSV forward and shields the ball until Aaron Ramsdale can collect.

Ten minutes to go until the break.

It took until the 70th minute for Arsenal to find the breakthrough last week. One goal could very well be enough to settle this one in Eindhoven on the evidence so far.

45.2% of the action has been in PSV's defensive third over the past 15 minutes, but the Gunners need to stay alert to the danger PSV pose on the break. We've already seen on a couple of occasions that there's plenty of pace up top for the Dutch side.

Anwar El Ghazi can't find Xavi Simons as PSV create a two-on-one situation down Arsenal's left. Both sides are certainly trying to play neat and tidy football, but both defences are holding firm so far.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag stressed his desire to win his side's Europa League group in his press conference yesterday and has rammed home the message in his programme notes tonight.

United need to win tonight and again against Real Sociedad in Spain next week to achieve that aim. The prize is a place in the last-16 and avoiding a play-off against a side dropping into the competition from the Champions League, which could be Barcelona, Juventus and Atletico Madrid after this week's results.

"We have nine points from our first four group stage matches and we know a point will take us into the draw for the knockout stages," he said. "But we have to aim higher than that.

"To be sure of a chance to win the group when we travel to Spain next week, we have to beat Sheriff tonight."

The PSV supporters are on their feet applauding one of their supporters who recently passed away.

Fireworks are going off outside the stadium too, while some fans hold up a banner in tribute. A nice touch.

After their Cody Gakpo scare, Arsenal have control once more. They've made 210 passes to PSV's 85 so far but they're just missing that final ball when it matters.

The Gunners win a corner but Walter Benitez is unchallenged as he plucks it out the air.

That looks like a brilliant save! It may be one for the cameras, but Walter Benitez appeared to hang in mid-air as he scoops Eddie Nketiah's shot away from the top corner.

This is starting to heat up nicely.

Cody Gakpo almost added an extra £10m to his price tag with a delightful chip over Aaron Ramsdale following a quick PSV counter, but the flag is raised to prematurely end the celebrations among the home support.

Gabriel Martinelli, looking to mark his 100th Arsenal appearance with a goal, registers his side's first attempt but his shot is closed down and the deflection sees the ball loop on to the roof of the goal.

Corner. But PSV clear.

Arsenal get control of the ball again - they've had 70% of possession so far - and the ball is worked across to Kieran Tierney, but his attempted cross from the left goes out of play.

Eddie Nketiah collects Fabio Vieira's pass into the box but he's forced to go back and PSV successfully push Arsenal away from goal. We're still waiting for the Gunners' first attempt.
