Can Chelsea dig themselves out of this hole.

They've not offered much this half to really threaten Arsenal.

Oh, Edouard Mendy takes a risk, but it pays off.

The keeper opts to come charging to the edge of his box to gather the ball ahead of Bukayo Saka and just does so within the allotted area in which he can handle.

Chelsea are all over the shop now.

Oleksandr Zinchenko's cross from the left breaks to Bukayo Saka on the opposite side of the box. He takes a touch and skies his effort.

So, as it stands, Arsenal are going back to the top of the Premier League table. Chelsea are heading for a second successive Premier League loss. It would be four games without a win for Graham Potter's side.

Arsenal have avoided defeat in their last 20 matches when scoring the opening goal in the English Premier League dating back to 10th February 2022 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea were going to make this change anyway before the goal, but on comes Armando Broja for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been a passenger this half.

Raheem Sterling turns and looks to get Chelsea away. There are no options in front of him, though, so he dwells and back comes Granit Xhaka to tackle.

That doesn't go down well with the home crowd.

He's not entirely to blame there, but Sterling is one of those players struggling for Chelsea right now. Be interesting to see what his role might be for England in Qatar.
