This was Alejandro Garnacho after his start against FC Sheriff last week. I wonder how he is feeling now!

Real Sociedad 0-1 Man Utd
And it stands, Manchester United lead 1-0. Get another goal without reply and they win the group.
Alejandro Garnacho
What a moment for the youngster!
The first real attack by Manchester United and it is a move of quality as Bruno Fernandes finds Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays a superb ball through the defence and Alejandro Garnacho powers through to score his first goal for the club.
There's going to be a check by VAR, however...
There's not a huge amount resting on the games currently in action in the Europa League. One that does have something on it, though, is Monaco v Red Star Belgrade, with the winner entering the knockout round play-offs as Group H runners-up.
Kevin Volland has given the French side the lead in that game.
In the same group, Turkish side Trabzonspor can take second if they win and Monaco do not. And they're also ahead, Anastasios Bakasetas with the goal against Ferencvaros.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
A good clearing header from a cross by Lisandro Martinez. You can see why Real Sociedad have been so strong in Europe this season.

Tom: I get when goalkeepers are criticised in the modern game for not being good with their feet for example David de Gea. But has anyone noticed that Cristiano cannot make a 5 yard pass? Not to diminish his great goal scoring ability, but it's no wonder he doesn't feature in the first choice XI - he cannot play a possession based passing game.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
Diego Rico can't keep the ball in play down the left as Real Sociedad come forward again. There's a roar of encouragement from the home fans as they like what they have seen so far.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
Cristiano Ronaldo loves a goal against Real Sociedad, having got 13 in his last seven games against them. He's not come anywhere near to adding to that tally yet as its all Sociedad doing the attacking.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
Carlos Fernandez breaks into the area but fires into the side netting as Real Sociedad keep up this strong start.
Manchester United haven't really got out of their half yet.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
The hosts continue to keep up this early pressure, pressing Manchester United in their own half and winning the ball in promising positions.
Diego Rico tries to weave his way into the area but he can't keep the ball in play as he tries to dart through the defence.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
The hosts are getting into Manchester United's faces straight away here and there's work for the visiting defence to do as Martin Zubimendi's cross is cut out and knocked back to David de Gea.
Real Sociedad 0-0 Man Utd
Manchester United have only won by a two-goal margin away from home once this season - against FC Sheriff. They need to do it again tonight for top spot.
It's the visitors who get things under way.
Real Sociedad v Man Utd (17:45 GMT)
A big backing for Real Sociedad as the home fans hope to see their side wrap up top spot.
It has been chucking it down for most of the day there, but thankfully the rain has subsided now as the players come out onto the pitch.

Thomas: Important game for Man United tonight. A big win would see them top the group, saving the players from two extra games. Could be crucial as we go towards the latter stages of the season.
No side wants to have to face the lottery of a play off, particularly with the calibre of the teams they could be drawn against.
Eight teams have dropped from the Champions League and into the Europa League play-offs. They are:

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag speaking to BT Sport: "He [Marcus Rashford] is so important for us with his goal threat and runs in behind. He is playing a magnificent season and we have to keep him in this form and keep him fresh.
"We know what to do. It’s about the tempo and you need to have a plan. We have an idea with Marcus Rashford at the end of the game and to deal with that. We have a plan."
On Donny van de Beek's inclusion: "He's back and we also have some problems in the front line. This is his moment. From the number.10 position he can be dangerous between the lines, getting behind, and a good counter-press, so I want to see that. He has to take this moment. I know he can do it.”

Mubeen: Can Casemiro - Donny - Eriksen be the new Kroos - Casemiro - Modric trio?
Emmanuel: Start Casemiro, bench Eriksen and sell Bruno easy.
