Low quality scrap. Two poor teams. Lots of fouls. Love it
Stuart Boston
I gotta say.... it's good to see the Chelsea team willing to battle as a team.

Good news for Spurs. Emerson Royal is going to be fine to carry on.
Spurs are on the attack and Richarlison, who has not made much of an impact so far, eyes a chance but sends it well wide.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
Another challenge won by Emerson Royal. He's having a good game. But what's this? The game is stopped because he has an issue.

We need to move Felix further up the pitch and bring Havertz back. He can make a bigger impact that way
Gary. Northwich
I don't see how Son doesn't deserve a start after his goal against West Ham. Richarlison did nothing in that game.

This has just really lit the touch paper. Romero has gone flying into the challenge and won his side a throw-in. I've never heard a throw-in cheered so much.
There is so much intensity on the pitch now.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
This might not be the most entertaining match of the season but both sides are fully committed.
Cristian Romero and Kai Havertz collide as they go for a 50-50.

This Spurs is awful how they are top 4 is beyond me. The league is shocking this season only team performing is an average Arsenal team.

There’s a distinct lack of quality from both teams. Could see a goalless draw here. Wouldn’t be the worst for either team.

Take some of that!
Kepa is about to make a clearance when he is closed down by Harry Kane who makes sure the Chelsea keeper feels his presence.
Kepa is left in a heap on the floor.

Half an hour on the clock.
This is bubbling nicely. Tottenham have gone the closest through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but Chelsea look solid at the back.
The problem is there has not been lots of attacking intent from Graham Potter's side.

That's a great strike by Hojbjerg, it takes a deflection and Kepa is beaten all ends up.
What a fantastic block that is from Fofana.

I know Aubameyang is supposedly out of favour but you would’ve thought he’d be up for a game against Spurs? Well, wouldn’t he?
Boycie
Nice to see Potter thinking outside the box by playing 3 false 9's. Can see Spurs nicking this with a 88th minute Kane goal.

Richarlison was clattered in the build-up to that move. That's comfortably the closest we have come to a goal.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
So close!
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg thinks he has scored but his shot takes a deflecton off Wesley Fofana and strikes Chelsea's post.

Arjun Singh: As if I could dislike Tottenham any more than I already do - now they’ve gone and injured Thiago Silva.
Garett T Switzer: Hojbjerg has definitely replaced Bruno Fernandes as my least favorite player to watch in the prem. Constantly going to ground and complaining about the most minimal contact.

This is a huge fixture for the fans.
There's a lot made of the north London derby, which is probably the bigger fixture, but this comes very close.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
Good work by Ben Chilwell as he skips in off the wing but Emerson Royal produces a big challenge inside the box and Chelsea have a corner.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
Midway through the first half in this London derby. It's tight and cagey. One shot on target. Countless fouls and free-kicks.

Silva is a big loss to Chelsea. His leadership qualities are so crucial. Chelsea have got replacements but none of them have his character.
Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea
Wesley Fofana is Silva's replacement with less than 20 minutes on the clock. We've not seen much of Harry Kane so far but Tottenham's all-time record scorer has just dragged an attempt wide.
