Digital Teez: Why are we letting Chelsea have the ball? They're not good.

A fierce strike by Joao Felix about 20 yards out but it is straight at Fraser Forster. Now Thiago Silva has gone down. This is a big blow for Chelsea. They are being forced into an early change.

Thiago Silva was still trying to organise the defence after getting treatment for an injury ahead of that Tottenham corner.

Thiago Silva has been patched up. He's going to be fine to carry on for now but how long he is able to stay on the pitch remains to be seen. He looks in considerable discomfort.

It's being played at a great pace and both teams are clearly looking to score goals and get the win.

Chelsea have had the better of the opening 10 minutes but Tottenham look dangerous as they try to release Kulusevski and Richarlison on the counter.

Tottenham have started slowly but they have just moved up a gear.

Lovely work by Harry Kane who starts a move which ends with him having an attempt from inside the box.

Thiago Silva has gone down in a heap. He is receiving treatment and there are some worried looking Chelsea faces.

It has been a fantastic start by both teams.

Tottenham are sitting a little deeper and allowing Chelsea to have possession in front of them. We've seen Tottenham play on the counter a lot this season and they are hoping to do that again today.

Crunching challenge after crunching challenge. Now Joao Felix has gone down. Seconds later Hakim Ziyech goes in hard on Richarlison.

Stuart Attwell is the busiest man on the pitch. Thiago Silva catches Cristian Romero as a free-kick is pinged into the Spurs box.

This is already turning into a bruising London derby.

Gorgeous ball by Enzo Fernandez unlocks the Spurs defence but it just evades Joao Felix on the stretch. Felix is looking lively and moments later wins Chelsea a free-kick after being caught by Eric Dier.

Loads of possession for Chelsea in the opening exchanges. Spurs cannot get out of their own half.

Oliver Skipp doesn't touch him.

He goes to kick the ball and misses it, Sterling tries to go over his leg but there's nothing in it.

Nervy start by Spurs, lively stuff from Chelsea. The visitors look up for this - they're getting stuck in.

Nii: Chelsea line-up today is very interesting. After spending £600m, after many chop and changes, Potter gone for the old team members, with only the addition of Enzo, who actually is the only one among the many new signings who is proving his worth.

Early drama. A Tottenham player is down on the floor but Stuart Attwell waves play on. Raheem Sterling darts into the Spurs penalty box and goes down under a challenge from Oliver Skipp.

No penalty.

It's nice when the supply teacher [Stellini] comes in but it can be a double-edged sword in training and you have to ask is it as intense?

Coaches do so much behind the scenes with managers generally just overseeing.

This is a huge game. And it's Chelsea who get it under way.
