The ball bounced about eight times before it went out, that's how bad that Remo Freuler shot was.

Max Kilman is booked for a foul and Nottingham Forest have a free kick on the right side of the box. Morgan Gibbs-White sends the ball in, it is half cleared to Remo Freuler, who hits a terrible first-time shot well wide.

It is good from Jimenez. Wolves need him to start scoring goals. He is their main striker and a goal then would have given him confidence, but a good save from Henderson.

Sekou Mara should really do better, he shanks the ball well wide on his left foot.

They break quickly and Raul Jimenez has just the goalkeeper to beat but Dean Henderson pushes away superbly. Goncalo Guedes has the ball on the rebound but smashes well over.

Nathan Jones will be absolutely delighted with his team's application and aggression. They have restricted Manchester to just the one chance for Ilkay Gundogan.

Good chance for Southampton, this. Sekou Mara controls a long ball into the box, he's in loads of space, and he shoots over the bar.

A shot from Wolves! Goncalo Guedes, despite stumbling on the edge of the area, gets a low shot away but Dean Henderson has it covered.

I think Julen Lopetegui will be successful for Wolves and will keep them in the Premier League but they need to be better in the final third.

Jack Grealish lifts in a cross for City but it's a simple catch for his could-have-been Irish team-mate Gavin Bazunu.

Just over 10 minutes to go until half time and Julen Lopetegui must be contemplating changes. This XI hasn't produced so far.

Nottingham Forest have pace and creativity in attack. They keep in their block and when they have the ball they counter because they have the pace to cause Wolves problems.

Southampton keeper Gavin Bazunu plays a dreamy 80-yard diagonal ball to Moussa Djenepo, but he can't beat his man on the wing.

Bazunu joined the Saints in the summer from City.

No shots on or off target yet from Wolves. Hwang Hee-chan sends the ball into the box but there's no-one there. Poor from Wolves so far.

City are yet to get going here at all. I wonder if a few Saints fans at home are starting to wish they'd gone - with all these empty seats.

I'm liking the look of Julen Lopetegui on the touchline. He is permanently up on his feet and constantly shouting instructions at his players. He really does not look happy with what he has seen so far from Wolves.

You can see why Wolves struggle to score goals because in that final third they are nowhere near good enough. Poor decision making.

Brennan Johnson is up and saying he is OK but Emmanuel Dennis is still getting ready to come on. One to watch.
