Oh no. Concern for Nottingham Forest here as Brennan Johnson is down on the grass and needing treatment, Hopefully he will be OK because he is a key player for Forest.

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Wolves

A couple of months ago it looked like Nottingham Forest were going to have a short and not-so-sweet stay in the Premier League but they've really turned a corner in their last few games. Win this and it will be five wins from their last eight in all competitions.

Considering so many new players came through the door in the summer they are really looking like a well-organised, Premier League quality team now.

Moussa Djenepo skies a half-volley for Southampton but this is a very promising spell for Nathan Jones' side.

    Southampton 0-0 Man City

The hosts go so close to the lead. The ball drops to Duje Caleta-Car outside the box and his clever shot is saved well by Stefan Ortega.

The Saints keep the pressure on from the corner and Ibrahima Diallo flicks a header towards goal although with not enough power.

It is a poor error from Salisu. Cole Palmer does very well, coming in from the right-hand side with composure and just rolls it into Gundogan. But it is a poor effort in the end.

Just before that goal, referee Graham Scott had a long chat with respective captains Ryan Yates and Joao Moutinho over some shoving on the goal-line between Matheus Nunes and Brennan Johnson.

Morgan Gibbs-White dropped the corner right into the heart of the Wolves six-yard box and the visitors couldn't get it away.

That goal came at a crucial time for Nottingham Forest because Wolves were just growing into the game. Now it is the hosts with their tails up and they are hammering at the door for a second.

City's first proper attack. Cole Palmer closes down Mohammed Salisu and runs down the right before cutting it back to Ilkay Gundogan, who scuffs a shot wide from 20 yards.

I like Ait-Nouri, he always causes problems. Forest started ever so well but now it is Wolves.

The Nottingham Forest fans serenaded Morgan Gibbs-White when he took a corner in front of them.

The ball immediately went out for another corner at the other side, which required Gibbs-White to run across the goal behind which all the Wolves fans are.

They did not give him such a warm welcome.

Gibbs-White left Wolves for Forest in a £25m deal in the summer.

    Southampton 0-0 Man City

    Phil McNulty

Not a great night and still a few minutes to kick-off but so many empty seats at St Mary's. New manager Nathan Jones has so far failed to win over the fans but the attendance, at this stage, looks a lot below capacity for a League Cup quarter-final against Manchester City.
