At the age of 36 with 180 caps, a World Cup, two European Championships, four Champions Leagues, five La Ligas and one Ligue 1 title most footballers would be happy to enjoy retirement sitting in their luxurious home.
But then Sergio Ramos is far from your average multimillionaire footballer.
When announced as 'Best Defender of all Time' at the Globe Soccer Awards in December the Spaniard said: "I still have many dreams and goals to fulfil."
He has already ended his international career though after being told by new Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente that he doesn't figure in the national side's plans and his future at Paris St-Germain looks increasingly uncertain.
So what next for one of the modern game's most decorated players?

Another delayed kick off. Guys, it's London. Gonna be traffic. Not rocket science surely

Bayern Munich v Paris St-Germain (20:00 GMT)
Lionel Messi's next goal will be the 800th of his career.
He has netted 672 goals for Barcelona, 98 for Argentina and 29 for Paris St-Germain.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to score so many top-level career goals, reaching that landmark in December 2021.

Antonio Conte said club doctors were "really worried" about his health but he now has "a lot of energy" as he returns to the club.
Conte had gallbladder surgery last month and, after briefly returning for two matches, has missed Spurs' past four games to recover in Italy.
He will be back in the dugout tonight though.
"I have to still recover weight but for the rest I am OK," he said.
"My feeling is good. I have a lot of energy. I will try to transfer my energy to my players because it is an important game for us."

I think it is a very open second leg, Bayern haven't been as dominant as they usually are domestically. Bayern Munich have the lead from the first leg so maybe 55-45 percent in their favour. The feeling here in Munich is that they are fearing Kylian Mbappe quite a lot who is back to his best.
It feels that the biggest narrative is that it is all on Mbappe. If they can stop him they can go through and if he can have one of those games PSG can go through.
Tottenham v AC Milan (20:10 GMT)
The players are only just coming out to warm-up now after getting stuck in traffic.
With kick-off delayed by 10 minutes though, they have plenty of time.
Bayern Munich v Paris St-Germain (20:00 GMT)
Kylian Mbappe comes into this game as Paris St-Germain's all-time top scorer.
His late goal against Nantes on Saturday was his record 201st strike for the club. Not bad for a 24-year-old who started his career at another team.
Despite being continually linked with a move away, he said: "If I linked my future to the Champions League, without wishing to show a lack of respect to the club, I would have left a long time ago.
"I don't think this match will have an impact. I am here and I am very happy to be here. I am not thinking about anything other than making PSG successful."

The German Football League (DFL) wants to tighten rules to ensure investors don't take full control of more clubs.
The existing '50+1' rule blocks investors from controlling a majority of voting rights in clubs.
It means supporters have a say in how their clubs are run, rather than one outside influence or investor.
However some clubs are excused so the DFL has submitted a proposal to ensure no future exemptions are granted while tightening the current framework.
Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen are the clubs exempt from the 50+1 rule.
The DFL said those clubs would continue playing in the top leagues but would have to meet some criteria to retain their status.

We've got a 10 minute delay. We saw both teams arrive just before we went on air and that would be the case because of the traffic in north London.

You would probably feel more secure with a fourth [defender for Bayern]. You have to nullify the threat and minimise the space that Kylian Mbappe loves to run into. Alphonso Davies will have to drop back.
Joao Cancelo's weakest part of his game is defending. He is a great player but he is not that disciplined defensively [which is why he is not starting against Mbappe].

I think most Spurs fans think this is going to be Antonio Conte's last season. There was a lot of talk about Mauricio Pochettino. But if they get through here tonight then they have a real chance of winning the Champions League and it will be the greatest moment in the club's history.
Scott Parker has been sacked as Club Bruges manager after less than three months in charge.
Former Bournemouth and Fulham boss Parker won just two of his 12 matches at the Belgian champions.
The 42-year-old Englishman saw his side lose 5-1 to Benfica in their Champions League last 16 second leg on Tuesday, going out 7-1 on aggregate.

It is nicely balanced this game. Milan didn't look in control of that first game. The two chances at the end for them...It might have been game, set and match if they go in. But this is a really nicely balanced tie.
Tottenham v AC Milan (20:00 GMT)
Tottenham's 1-0 defeat in the first leg was their first defeat in five meetings with AC Milan in all European competitions.
Spurs have progressed from two of their past three European ties when losing the first leg.
But they have lost four of their past six home matches in the Champions League knockout stages, including each of the past two.
Harry Kane has scored one goal in seven Champions League games this season, having netted 20 in his first 24 appearances.
Bayern Munich v Paris St-Germain (20:00 GMT)
Bayern won the first leg 1-0 at the Parc des Princes with Kingsley Coman scoring the only goal.
Coman, who started his career at PSG, also scored the only goal when they met in the 2020 final.
This is the 13th Champions League meeting between Bayern and PSG, with each side winning six of the previous 12.

This will be a huge game and recent results - against Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester City - at home gives you the sense they will be much more confident. Expect a big atmosphere as well.

Tottenham have been inconsistent all season. If you look through their season and go by law of averages since August they have won three, lost three, won two, lost two. They have lost two in a row so I am backing Spurs tonight.
Bayern Munich v Paris St-Germain (20:00 GMT)
Bayern Munich have won six European Cups, most recently in 2019-20 when they beat PSG in the final.
Head coach Julian Nagelsmann, 35, has yet to lift the European Cup himself - only joining the club in 2021 and having never played at the top level.
"We all want to go very far in the Champions League, but it also always comes down to form on the day with heavyweights like Bayern and PSG," he said.
"Both teams are at a similar level in terms of individual players. Both have top stars in their ranks. But our group has a very good feeling of being there for each other and giving everything."
Their top scorer in all competitions this season is ex-Stoke striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
