CJ Hamilton makes his presence known straight away, breaking into the box on the left.

He takes a swing for the ball though and rather than getting his cross away he misses and goes down as the ball runs out for a goal kick.

And now we see the first changes for Blackpool, too as Josh Bowler makes way for CJ Hamilton, while Luke Garbutt is replaced by Kenny Dougall in midfield.

Scrap that, Bristol City are the first to make a change with Harry Cornick coming on for Mark Sykes.

Looks like Mick McCarthy might be getting ready to make some changes with just under half an hour on the clock to go.

But you only need one chance to get a goal.

Bristol City's defence can be got at but Blackpool have to get on the ball, be braver and show more quality in the final third.

Bristol City have their tails up now as Cameron Pring races from his position into the back four forward into the box.

He passes wide to Mark Sykes, although his cross is blocked in the box and bundles out for a corner.

It's a great strike from Andi Weimann. The keeper can do nothing about that but you have to get closer. You can't give a player of his quality that much time on the ball.

Bristol City's defence are running in circles a little bit as Blackpool start this second-half brightly.

Whatever Mick McCarthy said to his side at half-time seems to have given them a bit of oomph.

Blackpool are not out of this game.

They set up a decent chance as the ball is chested to Josh Bowler on the edge of the box, but his effort goes high and wide of the goal.

Signs of creativity still there for the Seasiders.

Jay Dasilva have been linking up well so far in this match.

Dasilva makes another searching run through midfield and offloads wide to Mehmeti who dribbles into the box but he stumbles under a bit of contact from Jordan Gabriel and the chance goes begging.

After watching the first 45 minutes, 0-0 could be the score at the end of the game. There's not been a lot of quality.

Bristol City have had a lot of possession but Blackpool had the best chance from a long ball by the goalkeeper.

The second-half gets going with no changes so far from either manager.

They (Bristol City) really have got themselves in some fabulous positions and haven't been clinical enough and haven't taken enough care.

Sometimes you've got to take a shot, take the chance.

At the moment they're looking to score that perfect goal. You don't get extra points for artistic position, you get the same one goal as soon as that ball crosses the line.

At the moment they are looking to overcomplicate things.

Bristol City need to make sure these passes, these crosses, these touches have a clinical finish.

The first 30 minutes was like attack versus defence and Blackpool just couldn't get out.

They've changed formation and have looked more solid, and had the best chance through Jerry Yates.

At the moment it's a point on the board. But at least they are in this game now.

They have got a good shape, they're happy to sit on the edge of their box and Bristol City have struggled for ideas in the final third.

Goalless at the break as Bristol City dominate possession and create almost all of the chances, but it's Blackpool who almost nicked the lead.

They had the best opportunity to score through Jerry Yates, except he sent the ball wide in a one-on-one with Robins keeper Max O'Leary.

Morgan Rogers and Mark Sykes come together just inside the box and Sykes goes to the ground, but the referee dismisses some muted calls for a penalty.

What Bristol City now need to do is go and have their cup of tea at half time, regroup and keep doing what they are doing.
