Anis Mehmeti's neat footwork has been clear to see so far this afternoon. He breaks into the box again, dribbling past a number of Blackpool defenders, his last touch leaves something to be desired.

He had Jay Dasilva on his left and Mark Sykes on his right but chose to go it alone and his shot is instantly blocked in a busy box.

Apart from that cross earlier, I don't remember Chris Maxwell having to do much.

Bristol City, some of their best players haven't had that killer instinct in front of goal.

Jay Dasilva and Anis Mehmeti link up down the left but Mehmeti's cross - or is it a shot - goes straight at Chris Maxwell.

Bristol City have had 10 shots to Blackpool's one, although Blackpool's chance was surely the best of the half so far.

It was a scuff by Jerry Yates. He made a complete hash of it.

How on earth has Jerry Yates missed that?!

A long ball over the top picks out Yates, who breaks between two defenders and gets through one-on-one with Max O'Leary.

The ball bounces in front of him but his touch isn't great and while he beats the keeper somehow his shot rolls the wrong side of the post and goes wide.

Blackpool will be ruing that missed chance. Should have been 1-0.

Keeping it 0-0 is the best Blackpool can hope for because they are offering nothing going forward.

They have defended really well but they do need to stop the crosses coming in.

Blackpool's defence really are hanging on, as Andi Weimann is the latest in a long line of players to have a shot blocked in the box.

Bristol City are missing that edge in the final third at the moment for all the possession and chances they've had.

Josh Bowler breaks into the box but runs into a lot of traffic from the Bristol City defence and can't get a shot away.

We're approaching half an hour into this match and neither keeper has had to make a meaningful save just yet.

Another corner from Bristol City and it's a move straight off the training ground as Nahki Wells finds space at the edge of the box and fires the low cross straight towards goal.

It wasn't quite on target but Jordan Gabriel blocks it anyway.

It's all going Bristol City's way at the minute as Blackpool struggle to get possession and out of their half.

Andy King and Alex Scott both ping crosses into the box and there's also a call for handball which the referee waves away.

The pressure is upping here.

A long throw from Jerry Yates catches Bristol City off-guard and some neat Blackpool passing sets up Jordan Gabriel to cross into the box.

His angle is really narrow though and Max O'Leary comfortably gathers the ball.

Don Thompson twice finds a bit of space down the left for Blackpool but the Seasiders don't take the chance to cross the ball into the box and actually end up going backwards.
