    Rodrigo

    Great strike!

Weston McKennie's long throw is a real weapon and he slings the ball into the middle of the box and Rodrigo thunders a superb volley into the back of the net.

Leeds are ahead and are currently heading out of the relegation zone!

  2. 'Milner great addition for Brighton'published at 13:46 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    Brighton v Southampton (14:00 BST)

    Ben Mee
Brentford defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

James Milner is a great player and a great professional.

I remember being a young player at Manchester City and seeing his work ethic every day. He's a big inspiration for young players and he'll be a great signing for Brighton.

  3. 'Bamford causing problems'published at 13:45 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna don't look comfortable when trying to deal with Patrick Bamford. He's wrestled them and fought them.

Bamford is doing really well but he needs bodies in and around him.

  4. Postpublished at 14 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

West Ham seem to be leaving a lot of space inside their own half and Leeds are exploiting it well so far as Jack Harrison whips in a cross from the left but it is headed away.

  5. Postpublished at 12 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

Weston McKennie sends a long throw into the box for Leeds but Declan Rice jumps highest to head clear.

  6. 'Percentage football'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leeds are moving the ball really well. It's percentage football behind the full backs and then trying to get runners in behind.

In response to Alan's post (13:25). Nothing remarkable about playing your strongest team. It's a League rule.

    Ashley, Wrexham.

Ref: Tom @ 1312. Yeah interesting I wonder what the stats say about sacking managers for struggling teams at the bottom. I bet it rarely makes an iota of difference really.

    Tars from Cranbourne Australia

If you look at the top 13 of the PL, almost none of those managers are remotely likely to be sacked next season. I suppose if Fulham or Wolves have a bad run they'd consider it. Palace and Spurs yet to appoint but you'd expect they'd be given a year, though we can remember Nuno and others.

    David, Brighton

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

Pablo Fornals then completely misses his kick as he tries to connect with a fizzed in ball from the right.

Fornals was in a really good position and had he got a decent touch that might have been the opening goal.

  9. Postpublished at 9 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

First real attack by West Ham as Declan Rice tries to flick the ball through the Leeds defence for Jarrod Bowen but it is intercepted and cleared.

  10. 'Bright start for Leeds'published at 13:38 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a really good start for Leeds, they've kept a good shape and then broken really well.

It's just the final touch in and around the box that has let them down so far.

  11. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

It is all Leeds at the moment as Jack Harrison hits a first-time shot towards goal but it is too close to Lukasz Fabianski.

Very encouraging start by the visitors in their bid to fight the drop.

  12. Postpublished at 6 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

West Ham haven't had much opportunity to get their foot on the ball yet. On the few occasions they've got into the Leeds half they have been closed down quickly.

  13. CLOSE!published at 5 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

    Big chance for Leeds!

Patrick Bamford, who is looking right up for this, is onto another ball behind the defence and he plays a really good ball across the face of goal for Rodrigo but the ball bounces off his foot and Lukasz Fabianski can gather first.

  14. Standing ovation for 'Knollsy'published at 13:34 British Summer Time 21 May 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Leeds

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

Anyone who saw images of the appalling scenes in Alkmaar on Thursday may have come across a social media image of a West Ham fan 'Knollsy' 'protecting' the visiting contingent.

He has just taken his seat to a standing ovation from the West Ham supporters who sit near to him, which is to my right.

Another surging run by Patrick Bamford, this time down the left and he gets into the box but his final touch is too heavy and he can't keep it in play.

Two ex-Everton managers who will have a big say in whether their old club will stay in the Premier League. One left with the majority of the fan base sorry to see him go; the other left with the majority happy to see the back of him. What’s the betting the latter has the last laugh today?

Out come the players with the West Ham team bringing out their own kids as mascots for their final home game of the season.

The Hammers will no doubt want to end their home campaign on a high - a tough game ahead for Leeds.
