  1. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-1 Tottenhampublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Kit Graham og (42 mins)

Turnaround central for West Ham - with a big helping hand.

Emma Snerle adds an assist to her goal just four minutes earlier with a high, hanging free-kick that has Spurs backpedalling - and Kit Graham misjudges a defensive header that loops into the top corner.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Former Brighton player Aileen Whelan is convinced she should have had a penalty against her old side.

It's a lovely little drag-back from the Leicester midfielder in the area and she thinks she's clipped by Julia Zigiotti Olme in the process. It did look like there was some contact.

  3. 'It's opening up'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

Both teams having openings in these last few minutes. It's becoming very open. Set-pieces mainly for United are troubling Liverpool.

  4. Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

Couple of half chances for both teams as United's Leah Galton hits a shot off target and Liverpool's Katie Stengel sees an effort blocked.

It's been a great watch, but nothing clear-cut just yet.

  5. goal

GOAL - Reading 0-2 Chelseapublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Guro Reiten (42 mins)

Put the champagne on ice - Chelsea are surely heading to another WSL title!

A simple ball over the top looks like being mopped up by Easther Mayi Kith but she mis-controls it and that allows Guro Reiten to nip in.

With just Grace Moloney to beat, Reiten keeps her cool and slips the ball through the goalkeeper's legs to double Chelsea's lead.

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Tottenhampublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Emma Snerle (38 mins)

A deserved equaliser on the balance of play as Emma Snerle does well to win possession in the Spurs box and curls home a lovely strike to level matters in the London derby.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea are just toying with Reading.

The players look like they are really enjoying themselves out there.

They are so calm and patient on the ball, they just look class.

So fluid in their movements, every single player just knows exactly what they are doing.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

More great play from Guro Reiten, who has a big shout to be Chelsea's player of the season, as she manages to get a good ball into the box despite it bouncing awkwardly along the byline.

Reading do manage to clear that but Chelsea come again and Lauren James' header from Niamh Charles' cross is pushed away by Grace Moloney.

    It's all Chelsea.

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

It's getting a bit feisty at the Broadfield Stadium.

Maisie Symonds thinks she is fouled from a throw-in but nothing doing. She then goes in heavy on Leicester's Hannah Cain and both players end up needing treatment.

    Five minutes until half-time.

    Man City 0-0 Everton

Deyna Castellanos does brilliantly to turn and shoot in the same movement, think Dennis Bergkamp against Newcastle, but her volley is driven just wide.

City are putting four or five attackers in the box every time they go forward. Everton look really stretched.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea appeal for a penalty after a possible handball in the Reading box.

But while her team-mates are shouting for spot kick, Erin Cuthbert hooks an effort goalwards and the ball drops just wide.

    Close.

  12. 'James one of the players of the season'published at 15:08 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Last season she was quite frustrated. First season at Chelsea, she didn't really get the minutes she wanted.

But that is what Emma Hayes does so well, she manages players so well.

She has had to bide her time and be patient, but this season James has been one of the best players in the league again.

Her ability on the ball is umatched, there isn't a player like her, the ball is glued to her feet.

    Arsenal 0-0 Aston Villa

Villa have done a decent job of keeping possession in the last few minutes and create a good opening.

Mayumi Pacheco gets in down the left byline and puts the ball across the face of goal. It is behind Rachel Daly, though, and there is no other Villa player on hand to turn it in.

Arsenal quickly go down the other end and almost get the opener when a cross from the left bounces off Villa defender Danielle Turner and Hannah Hampton has to make a save.

Ten minutes to go until the break. Liverpool have improved as the half has gone on. United are just lacking that final pass.

  15. 'A massive blow to lose Rose'published at 15:05 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It's a massive, massive blow for Reading to lose Deanne Rose [to injury].

She's recently come back from injury and maybe this game has come a little bit too soon for her. She has had to do a lot of ground work out there.

A massive blow for her and Reading, their brightest talent out there has now had to come off.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport at Select Car Leasing Stadium

That's a huge blow for Reading to lose Deanne Rose, presumably to an injury.

Madison Perry is a young player coming off the bench and you'd be very surprised if Kelly Chambers is risking a tactical change at this early stage.

Rose went straight to the dugout to sit down and looked disappointed.

  17. Leicester lacking ruthlessnesspublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

    Ben Miller
    BBC Sport at Broadfield Stadium

Willie Kirk emphasised that he doesn't want his side to rely on Chelsea beating Reading.

The Leicester boss has been on his feet throughout this game and was willing Hannah Cain to put that one-on-one in front of goal away.

Missy Goodwin then mimicked Cain's effort by dragging a low shot wide with a clear sight of goal at close range, drawing more coos of relief from the home fans - as did Carrie Jones' mis-kick with the goal gaping.

It won't matter too much unless Reading can turn their scoreline around, but Kirk must be praying his strikers don't end up regretting their wastefulness when presented with excellent chances.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

A blow for Reading as Deanne Rose has to go off and is replaced by Madison Perry.

Rose had been the key to helping Reading get up the pitch so the Royals will hope Perry is able to replicate that.

  19. 'Unreal achievement from Leicester'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

    It's unreal really isn't it?

Since the turn of the year Willie Kirk has done a fantastic job, and their performances have improved game by game.

Considering pre-Christmas when they had zero points on the board, to get to where they are now, if things stay as they are, they look like they'll live to fight another year in the WSL.

  20. 'Parris is a terror'published at 15:03 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

Nikita Parris has been really key on a lot of occasions for Manchester United. She's a constant threat and terror.

She has been playing on that right side and forced Lucia Garcia to be used mainly as a substitute.
