    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

A third glorious opportunity for Leicester goes begging.

Hannah Cain's cross from the left makes its way to Carrie Jones eight yards out and unmarked but she totally fluffs her line and mis-kicks wide.

That's three big chances for the Foxes - although the scoreline at Reading means they are staying up regardless as things stand.

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester United have lost their sting, their flow is a little off now.

In the stands, a supporter gets his head to a clearance that had been launched off the pitch.

    Great defending, he's rightly applauded.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Chelsea in total control now, almost feels like a training game for them.

The gaps will open [in the Reading backline] if they are patient. Reading just camped on the edge of their box.

    West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

Very close to an equaliser for West Ham as Emma Snerle lets rip from 25 yards with a cracking effort that flies millimetres over the angle of post and crossbar.

Viviane Asseyi then dithers too long after jinking her way into the area and the Hammers have to settle for a corner that Spurs keeper Becky Spencer punches clear.

A break in play while Ceri Holland receives treatment allows Marc Skinner the chance to give instructions to his players. The Manchester United boss looks very animated. He will know Chelsea lead and are four points clear at the top as it stands.

Great defending from United's Millie Turner to deny Katie Stengel getting in behind.

The forward tries to knock and run past Turner but the defender reads it well.

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

First caution of the day at the Broadfield Stadium as CJ Bott is booked for a tug on Lee Geum-min out on the left.

The subsequent Brighton free-kick evades everyone in the penalty area and floats out of play.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

Reading have responded well to falling behind, restricting further chances for Chelsea while providing a threat of their own.

  11. 'Liverpool are stifling United'published at 14:56 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

The midfield have done an excellent job so far, Liverpool, in not allowing United any time on the ball. They're really stifling that midfield.

    Man City 0-0 Everton

Half a chance for Everton. Nicoline Sorensen crosses for Katja Snoeijs but the Dutch forward's volley is tame and doesn't trouble the City keeper.

She had way more time than she realised. City's defenders parted around her.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport at Select Car Leasing Stadium

Reading are creating chances. The difference Deanne Rose makes to the team is huge. Imagine if she'd been fit for them all season? Things could have been different.

Justine Vanhaevermaet is getting into good positions too. She should have got that header on target at least.

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

The delivery from Mukandi was excellent and Vanhaevermaet can't keep her header on target.

    That is a real opportunity.

I don't think they're going to get too many of those opportunities in this game, so it is vitally important when they do arrive that Reading make them count

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Leicester shot conversion of 9.1% is the lowest in the WSL.

    And you can see why.

Minutes after Hannah Cain dragged a golden chance wide, Missy Goodwin does the same from just inside the area after Guro Bergsvand's slip set her free.

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

You've got to put it in perspective for Manchester United. They hadn't beaten a top-three side before this season - they've done that now. They're in places they've never been before.

  19. 'Reading need to re-group quickly'published at 14:52 British Summer Time 27 May 2023

    Reading 0-1 Chelsea

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Now it's important that this Reading team re-group.

They can't afford to concede another one so quickly after suffering the first, that is when they're likely to slip up.

The longer the game has gone on Chelsea are really enjoying having the ball and maintaining possession.

    Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd

From a corner, Manchester United's Vilde Boe Risa has her shot blocked before Liverpool race away on the counter.
