Barnsley with a corner.
The noise levels rise in expectation...
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
There will be five minutes of injury time to come.
Is that enough for one of these sides to spring a surprise in a game that has so far failed to reach any great heights?
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
A long throw for Sheffield Wednesday has Barnsley back in their own box in numbers.
The danger is easily repelled and we are into the final minute of normal time in the first half.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
A long ball forward from Liam Kitching, which reached Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson in one bounce, sums up this first half so far.
Quality going forward has been lacking.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Barry Bannan shrugs and points in frustration at space after his cross into the box skips dead without an Owls team-mate anywhere near it.

I think it's a lot about gamesmanship today, especially in this heat.
It's about making sure that you have that small margin and that you're concentrating and can take that moment when it does come.

Perhaps unsurprisingly the pace has dropped off after that frenetic opening 15 minutes or so.
Barnsley look the better side when they can get the ball down on the deck and move it around but Wednesday certainly carry a threat with direct balls forward to their strikers.
Both teams will be shooting towards their own fans after the break and I think the managers will be content enough for this to be goalless at half time.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Chances have been scarce.
For a moment it looks as if Sheffield Wednesday have Barnsley on the back foot.
Callum Paterson scoops a cross into the box, but there isn't a team-mate to be found and the Tykes clear.
We have a little over five minutes of the first half remaining.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Sheffield Wednesday have earned a succession of free-kicks and inched ever closer to goal.
The latest given away from Liam Kitching sets the Owls in a dangerous area about 40 yards out.
The ball is floated in, but Harry Isted collects without drama.

The corner is the first time Barnsley have been able to get up there and settle on the ball and try to create something.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
The Barnsley corner is whipped into the near post and cleared to the edge of the area.
The ball sits up for a shot, but the effort that comes back is leathered a long way over.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Sheffield Wednesday have worked well to contain Barnsley so far.
Adam Phillips takes the ball to the right corner, but has nowhere to turn.
Eventually, the Tykes earn a corner which will come in from the left.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Thirty minutes have come and gone.
It's certainly been gripping viewing, despite only having a sprinkling of chances.
Sheffield Wednesday, however, are the only ones that will feel they have had the chances to go ahead so far.

I think Wednesday have gone about the business as what we were sort of semi-predicting and it's been effective, it's kept Barnsley on the back foot.
I think we're starting to see Barnsley come back in the game. What we want to see from Wednesday is a purpose and a drive and something they can get hold of.
It's still an even game. It's going to be drastically fought all over the park but it's an intriguing one as well.

I think we predicted before the game Sheffield Wednesday are looking to go very direct, trying to mop up the pieces and create things on the edge of the box.
It's all about Barnsley being able to handle that and they have the last five or 10 minutes.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Now we have a scheduled drinks break.
Barnsley boss Michael Duff and Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore will be getting a few extra messages to their players, no doubt.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Barnsley have calmed things down a little as they hold possession for a sustained spell.
When the ball is eventually worked into the box, Sheffield Wednesday are quick to clear the danger and break up field at pace.
The Owls are keen to hit fast and hard, it seems.

This is helter-skelter stuff in the sun.
Both managers are on the edge of their technical areas encouraging, cajoling... and berating the officials every now and again.
Owls boss Darren Moore was a Wembley winner with Derby in the 2007 Championship play-off final, while Tykes counterpart Michael Duff did the same with Burnley in 2009.
Interestingly, Wednesday skipper Barry Bannan was part of the Blackpool team that won the 2010 Championship play-off final.
Well, interesting to me anyway...
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Both sides have proven match-winners, but just how important could Barry Bannan be for Sheffield Wednesday today? Already we have seen him pop up with a big early chance.
Statisticians at Opta have summed up his influence pretty neatly this week.
When you include the play-offs, Bannan has created the most chances in League One (133), played the most passes into the opposition box (512) and completed the most crosses (118) of any player.
If you go even further, in all competitions this season only Michael Smith (29) and Josh Windass (22) have more goals and assists for the Owls than Bannan (20 - seven goals, 13 assists).
