    Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil on the changes to Crystal Palace under Roy Hodgson compared to previous boss Patrick Vieira: "There are some differences. Still fantastic players, with individual talent in there. You look at the attacking talent they have; not only on the top line but the midfielders as well. They have some really good players. I like the centre-back pairing as well.

"Roy has obviously gone in there and managed to freshen things up a bit. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes. He knows the group well from when he was there before and has managed to get a really good tune out of them.

"It'll be a tough afternoon as Selhurst Park is never an easy place to go. Always an intense atmosphere but it's another opportunity for us to win another game of football and hopefully push onwards up the league."

Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil on opponents Crystal Palace: "Crystal Palace will be a very different challenge [compared to Chelsea]. They are a very good side. Roy has done a great job, well organised, only conceded a couple of goals from open play since he has gone in and you can why: they're a tough team to break down.

"A lot of work this week on getting ready for Crystal Palace and also trying to add some stuff to what we have been doing to try and move us forward."

Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi has been speaking to the media as his side prepares to take on Arsenal on Sunday and says winger Solly March and centre-back Adam Webster are unavailable for the trip to the capital: "For the last five games we won't have many players and we will have to organise step by step."

De Zerbi did confirm striker Evan Ferguson is ready to start against the Gunners.

On whether Solly March will play again this season, De Zerbi said: "Difficult question. Difficult to answer. I hope he can start the last two games [against Manchester City and Aston Villa]."

  4. 'Everybody respects, admires and follows' Odegaard - Artetapublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 12 May 2023

Arsenal v Brighton (Sun, 16:30 BST)

    Arsenal

A final word from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on captain Martin Odegaard, who has scored five goals in his last five Premier League games: "He had huge margins to improve and is taking steps in the right direction to become a game winner. He has [the ability], with his profile and the way he is within the team, to do that. You need really good team-mates around you, which he has, to be able to do that.

On the way he leads the team: "He has this character that everybody respects, admires and follows. He does it in his own way. There are many ways of leading the team and he has a unique one because it is his own one. We don't want to take anything from that. We are really happy that he represents the club in the way that he does."

  5. 'We have to focus on what we do'published at 14:26 British Summer Time 12 May 2023

Everton v Man City (Sun, 14:00 BST)

More from Everton manager Sean Dyche on facing league leaders Manchester City: "It's not easy, they are a top side performing fantastically well this season in a number of different competitions.

"But they have a busy programme. I know they have got a squad full of good players. Pep Guardiola might change things, rotate things. We can't look at everything they do. We have to still focus on what we do.

"It is important to remind ourselves of the good players we have got here, of the good group we have got. Like I say, they are a very good side but you have got to find a way of competing and if you do that properly and if you play well then you have a chance to win."

    Everton

Everton manager Sean Dyche on the importance of Monday's win against Brighton in their fight against relegation as they prepare to face league leaders Manchester City: "On the emotional side, the challenge you have got is that you want them to enjoy it. I want to enjoy it. But the most enjoyable thing is getting the whole job done, particularly at this club, this season.

"I just reminded them of that, as I did when I got here and we beat Arsenal - it's just another step, albeit an important step.

"The win on Monday was a big step in terms of the importance to our season. It was a big step in gluing it all together - the mentality, the performance and the tactical understanding, as well as the will and demand within the group to play.

"I want them to play hard and to enjoy the moment because these moments are the great thing about football.

"But equally, you have to come down very quickly because the next one is the most important one and we have been trying to do that."

When they got in there it was as they expected, so hopefully it will be a straight forward recovery."

Dyche on rumours that Coleman, who is out of contract in the summer, could have played his last game for the club: "All being well, he should be fit for next season. I am speaking to him ongoing. I have spoken to all the players that needed a chat about things so he is well in the loop of where he sits at this football club."

Man City's Pep Guardiola on La Liga helping teams in European competitions: "I am pretty sure the Premier League wants to help the teams. They don’t want to make it uncomfortable. It’s the schedule.

"You have to adapt, so what can I do? We would have preferred to play on Saturday.

"We have one more day to recover for Everton, we’ll have a day less for Real Madrid but we have more days to recover for the Premier League."

On how demanding Tuesday's Champions League match was: "When you win the previous game, it makes you feel better.

"When you think you're exhausted and can't go any more, you can. You can be tired, that's normal. But at the same time, if you desire, you can have incredible energy."

On Haaland's fitness after playing full matches: "Everything is controlled here [points at his head], his body language. I would say yeah he is fit, he recovers well. It's fine.

Can City finish without making lots of rotations?: "We will see. We have five days now, we’ll see. We'll see the team today and tomorrow and then we’ll decide, there's a lot of games too. There are players in the moment that are really important for us."

"You have to deserve to play a game. Six games, potentially seven, not much, a few weeks until the end of the season go for it."

On Nathan Ake's injury: "Much better but I don’t know. We have training in a few hours and we will see."

On Everton's win over Brighton: "Brighton is one of the toughest places to go and it was a big impact on Everton's mood."

  11. Moyes admits Rice could leave West Ham this summerpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 12 May 2023

Brentford v West Ham (Sun, 14:00 BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

West Ham boss David Moyes has admitted skipper Declan Rice might leave the club this summer.

Rice’s contract is due to expire in 2024, although the Hammers have an option to extend that by a further year.

So far, Rice has rejected all efforts to get him to sign an extension amid interest from virtually all England’s top clubs.

Whilst Moyes insists he wants Rice to stay, he admitted there it might not happen.

“We honestly hope Dec stays, that is the biggest thing,” he said.

“We would love him to be a West Ham player but we are aware that might not be the case. That is one of the scenarios.

“Our plans are to have Dec here but we are also fully aware there is a good chance that we don’t have him.”

If there was a hint, it was towards changes.

"It is a possibility but I need to see what players are available," he said.

"Playing Thursday-Sunday does have an effect and we are in the later stage of a cup competition and the next leg is away.
