Bissouma has been a different class today.

Under the previous managers, none of them wanted to play him. Today he has shown his technical quality, lacking in the finish though.

But last week and this week he has been outstanding.

Crucial, crucial block by Luke Shaw as Son Heung-min sees off Mason Mount and Lisandro Martínez but Shaw steps in to get his leg in the way of Son's shot from point-blank range.

Shaw, understandably, was fuming that a tackle wasn't put in earlier.

The goal has given what this game was missing and the chances keep on coming as now Yves Bissouma fires over.

Guglielmo Vicario is called upon again as he pushes behind Bruno Fernandes' curled effort. The flat then goes up for offside, but Vicario needed to make the save until he was sure it was offside.

Where's the Tottenham defence?

They gamble and keep the defensive line high and Varane has a free header in the box.

Good save from Vicario.

Brilliant save by Guglielmo Vicario as he leaps to push over Casemiro's header from a Bruno Fernandes free kick.

Son Heung-min then deals with the corner. This game has really livened up.

Well Martinez didn't play the ball did he?

He looked like he was trying to put his leg across Romero, and there was contact.

I think Romero may have a case here. The second one on Maddison perhaps not.

Tottenham fans are screaming for not one but two penalty shouts as Cristian Romero goes down inside the box after being clattered by Lisandro Martínez, before James Maddison tumbles under a challenge seconds later.

Nothing given for either shouts.

I like the way Spurs are playing. Yes there is acknowledgment that they could be a bit vulnerable going the other way but they are a front-foot side.

Ange Postecoglou wants to play a certain way, he had a lot of success with the approach at Celtic, and he hasn't backed off that since coming to the Premier League.

Jonny: Started the second half playing identically to the Wolves game. Garnacho giving it away, midfield cut apart, Shaw too central. This time they had someone to finish. Utterly predictable.

Quin: more schoolboy defending by Shaw. The man is still on holidays

The game is wide open now after that goal and Manchester United almost level immediately as Bruno Fernandes finds Antony, whose curled effort hits the post.

Great finish on the half volley from Sarr.

Not an easy chance to put away, could have come off his leg wrong and gone into the crowd, but he got his foot around it well.

Tottenham have come out really well and taken their chance.

Good run by Destiny Udogie as he skips past a couple of challenges. He finds James Maddison, who almost sets up Son Heung-min inside the box but the pass is cut out.

James: Man Utd again with the wrong formation, not going to win much with just one up front. Second Mount is looking like another wasteful buy!

Oliver: So we're still quite bad but we're much less boring, especially without Kane. I guess that's a step in the right direction!

Peter: Is it possible that both sides are missing Kane?
