Two pretty strong sides I reckon. Don't be shy, let us know your thoughts using the usual channels.

  3. Team news - Cresswell back for Hammers, Everton's Patterson replaces Youngpublished at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

West Ham v Everton (13:00 GMT)

West Ham return to familiar-looking side after David Moyes made sweeping changes for the Europa League defeat at Olympiakos on Thursday.

Left-back Aaron Cresswell makes his first Premier League start of the season after a hamstring injury, replacing the suspended Emerson Palmieri in one of two changes from last weekend's defeat at Aston Villa.

Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek drops to the bench as Mohammed Kudus starts in his place. Maxwel Cornet is back on the bench.

West Ham XI: Areola, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Cresswell, Ward-Prowse, Alvarez, Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta, Antonio.

Everton manager Sean Dyche makes one change from the team which started the Merseyside derby at Liverpool last weekend - and it is an enforced one.

Veteran full-back Ashley Young is suspended after being sent off at Anfield, meaning Dyche turns to Scotland right-back Nathan Patterson.

Everton XI: Pickford, Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Harrison, Garner, Onana, O'Neil, Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin.

Speaking of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, against no other side has DCL scored more goals in all competitions than West Ham (five).

His next goal in the Premier League will be his 50th – he’d be the fourth player to reach that milestone for the Toffees after Romelu Lukaku (68), Duncan Ferguson (60) and Tim Cahill (56).

    Chris Sutton

I have a sneaky feeling that Everton are going to get something, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit and looking sharp.

Calvert-Lewin has obviously had a lot of injuries but I am not going to apologise for admiring him. Everton's season depends on him, and he can definitely help them get a point here, for starters.

West Ham are a well-balanced side and Everton fans will know very well how organised teams are under David Moyes, but I can see the Toffees scrapping this one out for a draw.

    Sutton's prediction:1-1

We'll have the full teams for you at 12:00 GMT, and we're expecting West Ham boss David Moyes to recall a number of key players after making seven changes for Thursday's Europa League defeat by Olympiakos.

Emerson Palmieri serves a one-game ban, while fellow full-back Vladimir Coufal has been nursing a muscle issue.

Everton are without Ashley Young following his red card in last weekend's Merseyside derby.

Club captain Seamus Coleman has resumed full training for the first time since injuring his knee in May.

This game comes too soon for the Irishman, while Dele Alli and Andre Gomes are also unavailable.
