    FT: Stoke 1-3 Hull

Since Alex Neil’s first home league game in charge of Stoke City in August 2022, they have now lost the most Championship home games (13) in the division along with QPR.

Not a record the Scot will want to be reminded of.

The return of top scorer Andre Vidigal is a bright spot but Hull were in control of the game from the minute they went in front.

The Potters huffed and puffed after Vidigal reduced the arrears but the Tigers saw out the win with relative ease.

Former Hull City defender on BBC Radio Humberside

Job done for Hull. Forget the first half-an-hour, I think Hull controlled the last hour of the game and played at their pace.

Liam Rosenior knows what he is doing. To control the game away at Stoke, you can't ask any more.

    It's a great three points.

    FT: Stoke 1-3 Hull

That's Hull's first win at Stoke since they won 3-0 in 2005-06 under manager Peter Taylor.

The Tigers have also won their last three away league games – the Tigers hadn’t done that in the Championship since April 2013.

It's all looking rosy for Liam Rosenior's men.

Stoke's winless run stretches to five and they are in 20th.

Two teams moving in opposite directions at present.

Ki-Jana Hoever has popped-up in some good positions since coming on and he tries to find a team-mate with a cutback but it's again well defended by Hull.

Stoke keep coming though and look as dangerous as they have done all game.

A handball shout against Hull's Scott Twine is quickly waved away.

After seeing replay of the Regan Slater goal there is some chat that it might get taken off him and go down as a Lynden Gooch own goal.

Was the shot on target? The people who make these decisions will let us know in due course I'm sure.

Maybe Slater heard - he almost gets another but this time it's a good save from Mark Travers at the near post.

Stoke have kept plugging away and Wesley has an opening to reduce the deficit but shoots wide of Ryan Allsop's goal.

He could have done better there.

    Andre Vidigal (77 mins)

Maybe it isn't game over after all?

Andre Vidigal picks his way through some flimsy Hull tackles before firing past Ryan Allsop for his fourth league goal of the season.

    Can they find another?

That build-up is how Liam Rosenior wants his team to play. Hull have deserved that. They have controlled the game in the second half, and it's the best second-half performance I've seen for a long time.

    Regan Slater (72 mins)

    Game over.

It's an unfortunate one for Stoke as Regan Slater's long-range shot deflects off Lynden Gooch and gives Mark Travers no chance.

Some Stoke fans have started their journey home.

    Stoke 0-2 Hull

Manchester City loanee Liam Delap shows what he can do with a mazy run which ends with his shot being blocked behind for a corner.

Then Jaden Philogene has an opening at the far post but he can't get a shot away before being closed down.

That's the danger for Stoke as they push for a goal.

    Ian Cranson
Fomer Stoke defender on BBC Radio Stoke

Stoke needed that one to go in to give them a bit of a spark.

Wesley did very well with his turn and shot, but the keeper made a very good save.

    That's more like it!

Wesley uses his body to hold off a defender and get on a loose ball.

He shoots powerfully on the turn and forces Ryan Allsop into his first really good save of the match.

Anywhere else he wouldn't have got to it such was the power it was struck with.

A flurry of Stoke corners comes to nothing - much like it did in the first half.

The Potters are pressing but it's not troubling the Tigers in the slightest.
