Brilliant business by Forest today which will give Steve Cooper plenty to work on. Sad to see Brennan leave but we’ve used the funds to strengthen the team. We’ve signed some really good players.

Chelsea and Forrest might struggle now to field all of their best players because they have so many. Everton, on the other hand, have the exact opposite problem.

I actually think it's about time Everton got rid of some deadwood. Finally got a striker. Never worked for Maupay or Gbamin, signed a better youngster than Cannon and Iwobi's performances were very over rated, not sad to see him go at all.

    That's reportedly a £30m deal.

Forest say they "fought off competition from a host of clubs across the globe" to sign Ibrahim Sangare.

The Ivorian, who used to play for Toulouse, scored in PSV's Champions League play-off tie with Rangers recently.

Ibrahim Sangare is Forest's fifth singing of deadline day.

He joins Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, Bologna midfielder Nicolas Dominguez, Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos and Arsenal full-back Nuno Tavares at the club.

There could be one or two more to come tonight if reports are true.

Relieved, but sorry for Palhinha for the failed move, he deserved Champions League if going anywhere he should still be adored by the fan base. Not keen on Iwobi but if it keeps Silva happy hope it comes through.

Fulham have submitted a deal sheet in the hope of completing a loan deal for AC Milan defender Fode Ballo Toure.

The 26-year-old Senegal left-back is seen as competition for the established Antonee Robinson if the formalities of the deal can be tied up.

He has previously been linked with Royal Antwerp and Werder Bremen this summer after having a mixed time since joining AC Milan in July 2021.

Absolutely shocked by Everton's lack of transfers today. Not only that, but selling Iwobi is huge for them I think. They need to hope Beto is the answer. Even if he gets goals, may not be enough.

    Simon

I'm not an Everton fan, but everyone can see their biggest problem is scoring goals, so to lose Iwobi and Maupay without replacing seems... well, I think 'ill-judged' doesn't do it justice.
