As a premier league netural, Maddison is the signing of the window I think.

The best value transfer of the summer is Sandro Tonali. Absolute class by the looks this lad. Ran the show on Sunday and against Villa. Worst value for money signing looks to be Szoboszlai. Poor so far and struggling with premier league and for £60m it seems a poor bit of business.

Andy: Honestly I thought £30m for Ward-Prowse was really good value

Seems a better summer window for Forest. Better quality of players brought in with less money spent.

The only way Man Utd could win this transfer window was to sign Harry Kane, who is already scoring for fun at Bayern. United should have offered Levy £125m, and we win the title!

Amrabat should have been done earlier and should not be an attempt by United to end the window on a high, despite lacking in the beginning.

Fingers crossed Maresca can use his close ties with Pep to prize away De Bruyne so he can join the real City [Leicester!]. Wishful thinking!

People are calling this a good day for Forest. We’ve lost the best homegrown we’ve had for years and our squad now contains about 87 players.

Some more from Sofyan Amrabat on his move to Man Utd: “I know exactly how Erik ten Hag likes to work and what he needs from his players.

“His coaching and guidance developed me so much as a player earlier in my career.

“I know that he will help to bring out the best of my abilities so that I can help the group to be successful this season.”

United football director John Murtough said: “We have tracked Sofyan for a long time, so we are really pleased to bring him to Manchester United. His committed, high-energy approach to the game fits perfectly with the group that we are building here.

“We know that Sofyan’s mentality, dynamism and technical qualities will help the squad as we look to achieve success in all competitions this season.”

The 27-year-old Morocco international played 49 times for Fiorentina last season.

Glad with the Chelsea transfer window, achieved everything needed... except getting another striker. Awful lot of pressure on Jackson

    Adam

Arsenal have a decent squad - why he's let Tierney go is beyond me. Needed another centre half and striker as Nketiah is just not good enough. Arteta has started to tinker with a winning formula which is ultimately going to cost him and Arsenal.

    Hussain

With our midfield options of Trent’ish, Mac Allister, Endo, Gravenberch, Elliot, Bajcetic, Jones, Thiago and Szoboszlai, supporting the likes of Salah, Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo and Jota, I think we can do a Newcastle of old and try the ‘Score one more than them’ tactic this year and see if we can’t pip Pep
