    Scrappy start to this one.

  7. 'Scotland high line dangerous'published at 20:06 British Summer Time 12 September 2023

    Scotland 0-0 England

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Harry Kane is getting one-on-ones quite regularly and that's not comfortable.

These are two very committed sides. There was a set of midfield challenges there that was in the wrong century, but the referee let them play on.

Scotland are playing a fairly high line and it is really dangerous.

    Scotland 0-0 England

Marcus Rashford cuts in from the left, although he does look a shade offside. It's a moot point since Phil Foden balloons over the top from the lay off inside the penalty area.

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Scotland have started to come into the game and put in a few passes in the last five minutes, but England are playing excellently.

A lot of possession, moving the ball, nice triangles but in the final third you are looking for someone with a bit of quality and we haven't seen it.

    Pat Nevin

Scotland can't get hold of the ball and Marcus Rashford looks so dangerous on the left-hand side.

Scotland can soak up pressure, they did against Spain, but the way England are playing, they are getting half chances and Steve Clarke will be getting very worried.

  15. 'England in control'published at 19:55 British Summer Time 12 September 2023

    Scotland 0-0 England

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

England are in control. Scotland have not seen too much of the ball.

It's been cool, it's been calm and they've looked to get in behind Scotland. They've not quite done it yet, but they're willing...
