    Wow.

After what seemed like an eternity, that Alex Grieve goal has been disallowed for offside.

Having seen a replay, I'm not convinced. It's the third goal St Mirren have had chalked off this afternoon.

    Game over? Or is it?

It's all about the wing-backs again for Stephen Robinson's side, as Scott Tanser's deep cross is right on the money for Ryan Strain.

Strain nods it back across goal to Alex Grieve and it's the simplest of finishes for the Kiwi striker.

But, wait, there is a VAR check...

    The 10 men are behind!

It took a while coming, but Kilmarnock are finally ahead. Andrew Dallas had plenty of time to fire the ball across goal. Goalkeeper and defender missed it, and Armstrong was left with the easiest of finishes.

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at SMISA Stadium

Hearts are desperate to get something out of this.

They are throwing bodies forward in search of a breakthrough, but St Mirren are holding firm - just.

What a save that was from Zach Hemmings from Cammy Devlin though. The slightest fingertip and just past. Vital.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:42 British Summer Time 23 September 2023

St Mirren 1-0 Heart of Midlothian

Brilliant stop from home goalkeeper Zach Hemming, who gets down to his right to tip Cammy Devlin's low drive round the far post.

It was a superb flick over the top from Lawrence Shankland to play Devlin in and the Australia midfielder must have thought he had scored.

Kilmarnock are doing their utmost to find a way to goal against the 10-man hosts, but they just can't find that moment of composure.
