    Should be 1-1!

Great work by Nicolas Jackson as he gets onto a ball played into the box, he calmly checks inside a Spurs players who slides in anticpation of the shot but his effort is then superbly saved by Guglielmo Vicario.

What did I say about this game at kick-off? It is a cracker!

Mauricio Pochettino did talk about stopping James Maddison being key to Chelsea having a chance.

Unfortunately the visitors did not manage to stop Maddison contributing to that goal.

Perfect opening for Spurs. Large slice of good fortune about that goal but it all started with a superb James Maddison pass. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is, not surprisingly, very loud.

Chelsea just look all over the place. They started the game very well and Spurs literally one meaningful attack they took Chelsea apart. Obviously a lucky deflection but since then, Chelsea just look all over the place.

There is a lot of good fortune for Tottenham and have been all over Chelsea like a rash.

Dejan Kulusevski was in a dangerous position and in acres of space. Chelsea full-back Levi Colwill didn't make it difficult for Kulusevski.

Scoring first = victory for Tottenham so far in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea had started quite well but you can see the confidence flowing through the Spurs players now.

It was a break that Tottenham did very well. They move the ball from one side to the other.

Big, big deflection and it just bobbles over the line.

What a start from Spurs. They've been all over Chelsea in this opening period. Kulusevski's shot hits Colwill and wrong foots Sanchez. It's a deserved lead.

A big deflection but Tottenham won't care!

Tottenham have been given lots of space on the right and this time Dejan Kulusevski cuts inside and fires a shot towards goal, it takes a big deflection off the unfortunate Levi Colwill and flies into the back of the net.

    Robert Sánchez had no chance.

First opportunity goes Tottenham's way as the ball is played through the defence from the right for Son Heung-min, whose low strike is scooped up by Robert Sánchez.

Son was a fair bit offside anyway.

Been a Chelsea fan for as long as I can remember and still wake up in a cold sweat recalling the Avram Grant years! Stick with Poch, he'll come good.

Every season the one game I never look forward to is Chelsea. Doesn’t matter if we’re a better team than them or not, they always get a result from us. We’ve only beaten them 8 times in Premier League history. They are our bogey team, & I can’t wait to get this game out of the way.

Re Chelsea’s poor run (19:25) - you have totally neglected to mention our appalling injury record as a consideration. We’ve actually got more players fit now than at any point this season but we’re still missing three of our best defenders (Chilwell, Fofana and Chalobah) along with Chukwuemeka, Broja, Nkunku and Lavia - the last two haven’t even made their debuts for us yet! Let Poch pick his first choice 11 from a fully fit squad before you start criticising him unduly!

Out comes Mauricio Pochettino and I couldn't hear any boos, but I couldn't hear any cheers either because the PA system was incredibly loud.
