Great persistence there, Sterling just keeps going.

He picks it up wide on the left side and goes through one challenge and scores.

    But that is handball.

Raheem Sterling's equaliser is ruled out for offside. There was so much going on off the ball as that attack went on. Cristian Romero and Levi Colwill were involved in an off the ball incident as Sterling put the ball in the net.

    Raheem Sterling

    Chelsea are level!

Reece James plays a brilliant ball out wide to Raheem Sterling, who goes into the box, a first shot deflects onto his arm off Pedro Porro but he keeps going and then manages to force the ball into the net.

  5. 'Udogie is lucky'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2023

    Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

If he does catch Sterling, he is in trouble. If it is 10 or 15 centimetres to the left, I think that's a red card.

Son Heung-min is a brilliant player and has thrived in that central role under Ange Postecoglou. He revitalised his career at the club.

JS: Lucky deflection but not sure why Colwill defended in slow motion.

Mike: Jackson looks awful, way out of his depth in the Prem, this could really be a cricket score if Chelsea don’t switch on.

Steve: Wouldn't be deflected of Colwill if he hadn't been so reluctant to mark his man earlier

Tottenham just look sharper all over the pitch at the moment. Mauricio Pochettino was in deep discussion with Reece James. They need to sort something.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea

The VAR check is complete and there is no further action, just the yellow card for Destiny Udogie.

Destiny Udogie makes a really risky challenge as he slides in on Raheem Sterling. He is booked but VAR is having a look at this now too.

Very, very close. Another really good move from Tottenham down this left-hand side. I said it before, but Chelsea look really shaky at the back.

Bill: When I first saw Spurs keeper and back four at the start of the season I thought ..."er no chance with this lot". I now officially eat my words. They look a very cohesive group. Romero looks a different player. Vicario excellent stopper too. Well done Ange.

Lucie: Tottenham will win this, Top of the league, COYS!!

Dan: Is it too early to sing Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur in my living room?

That move deserved a goal. That was electric from Spurs and a great ball by Johnson to set up Son who put it past Sanchez. Another warning for Chelsea. The home fans boo the decision to disallow the goal.

The first time I saw Guglielmo Vicario, I had doubts about him. Ever since I first watched him play, he has been outstanding. He anticipated Nicolas Jackson's move and produced a brilliant save.

Well it looks like VAR is satisfied Brennan Johnson was offside, but what about Son Heung-min?

They check thoroughly but he is deemed offside too.

It looked to the naked eye, I thought he was offside. Son is upright and that could possibly keep him onside.

  19. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 14 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea

Lovely move by Tottenham as Brennan Johnson uses his pace to get away down the left and he plays a perfect ball for Son Heung-min to tap in, but the flag is up for offside.

    VAR will check this...

A brilliant save from Vicario. You think he has to score and he tries to guide it with his foot and that is a very good save by Vicario.
