  1. 'Win can change complexion of table for both'published at 11:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen

This feels like a real opportunity for both sides to put a positive stamp on the table.

Kilmarnock have not been far off having a great start, having had too many draws which limits the ability to pull away from teams. Their last performance and result against Livingston will bring real confidence though.

You're never quite sure with Aberdeen right now. A number of positives from Thursday have been tempered by that late collapse. Barry Robson needs wins to get the Dons where they should be.

  2. Dan's the man for Killiepublished at 11:51 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen (12:00)

Danny Armstrong has been Kilmarnock's key man this term.

The winger has six goal involvements (three goals and three assists) to his name.

He's the only player in the division to have both three or more goals and three or more assists.

Can he continue that form today?

  3. 'Aberdeen in real positive place' - Robsonpublished at 11:48 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen (12:00)

Aberdeen manager Barry Robson tells BBC Sportsound: "[Thursday's] had a good impact. Our performance was extremely good for large periods of the game. People tend to forget the quality of the opposition that we came up against.

"It was outstanding apart from a couple of mistakes at the end, so we're in a real positive place.

"Sometimes we've got different ways we want to do things. Duk is in today for his goals, his speed. He's a real handful and hopefully he can cause them some problems."

  4. 'We want to bring tempo' - McInnespublished at 11:46 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen (12:00)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Sportsound: "[Last week] was our best 90-minute performance of the season. Our front two caused the opposition defence all sorts of problems.

"But Aberdeen have got a level of player that can punish us. We want to try and bring a tempo. We need to make it our type of game. Hopefully we can do that.

"There's nothing in the league from fourth to 11th. We're just trying to get back-to-back wins and stay unbeaten as long as we can."

  6. Killie's Kennedy in for Ndabapublished at 11:40 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2023

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen (12:00)

Despite returning and impressing last week, Corrie Ndaba is once again absent for Derek McInnes' side.

He is replaced by former Dons wide-man Matty Kennedy, in what appears to be a wing-back role.

Innes Cameron returned to training through the week and takes up a place on the bench.

Midfielder Kyle Magennis remains out with a hamstring injury.

Aberdeen boss Barry Robson makes just one change from the gruelling Europa Conference League defeat by PAOK.

Duk is back into the fold, replacing one of Thursday night's goalscorers - American midfielder Dante Polvara, who drops to the bench.

Shayden Morris and James McGarry are out with hamstring injuries, while Rhys Williams - who was on the bench against PAOK - is completely absent.
