    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Brighton have faced more shots than any other WSL side so far this season (173) and also have the highest xG against of any side this term (19.8).

Judging by the opening few moments here it seems we may be getting more of the latter in terms of the Seagulls' performance today...

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 70 mins

    Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea

Lauren James is into the book for a bit of silly behaviour on Lia Walti.

The referee gives a free kick and Walti picks the ball up ready to take the set piece but James just stands on her foot.

Petulant and totally unnecessary from James, World Cup flashbacks.

An early break for Brighton has danger woman Elisabeth Terland in behind the Leicester back line,

Luckily for the Foxes an offside flag is there to save their blushes.

    Liverpool 0-0 Bristol City

The visitors have had the better of the opening exchanges with Ella Powell trying to work openings down the right-hand side.

Liverpool sit deep to hold them back.

Boos ring round the Emirates Stadium as Frida Maanum fouls Erin Cuthbert and Chelsea win a free-kick deep in their own half.

Arsenal are quickly back onto it, though. It's not often you see this from the defending champions.

Hosts Brighton get us under way here at a drizzly and cold-looking Broadfield Stadium.

Lauren James makes a decent run and has a go but it's a very tight angle and Manuela Zinsberger gathers.

    Brighton v Leicester (14:00 GMT)

With Brighton on a run of six home games without victory (drawn one, lost five), they will be hoping striker Elisabeth Terland can once again inspire them to a vital win.

Another formation change from Emma Hayes. Guro Reiten came on with instructions and I *think* it was a gesture to return to four at the back. We'll see!

Chelsea's corner comes to nothing and Arsenal quickly get on the counter-attack, which is where they are so dangerous.

Arsenal think they should have a penalty but the referee says no.

The Gunners have a corner but Ann-Katrin Berger collects with ease.

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Chelsea and England defender on BBC Two

Arsenal need to make sure they don't just drop deeper, as they will invite pressure onto them.

They are defending well at the minute, but there is only so much you can do.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea

Beth Mead turns behind for a corner and Erin Cuthbert is ready to take it but Chelsea are going to make a change.

Here comes Guro Reiten, returning from an ankle injury she picked up in October. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd makes way.

Not a substitution Arsenal fans will be too pleased to see.

Liverpool v Bristol City (14:00 GMT)

Bristol City have struggled with their return to life in the Women's Super League but there's been one big positive so far this season.

Striker Amalie Thestrup has adjusted well to life in the top flight and poses the Vixens' greatest goal threat.

Crucial block from Steph Catley to prevent Johanna Rytting Kaneryd getting into a decent area. That looked like quite a jolt for the Australian but she seems fine to carry on.

A standing ovation from most fans in the stands for Arsenal captain Kim Little.

She had a quick word with Jonas Eidevall then headed straight down the tunnel.

Liverpool v Bristol City (14:00 GMT)

Liverpool have had a much better start to this season than last time and the arrival of Sophie Roman Haug has played a significant helping hand.

She scored and assisted a further two in the Reds' 4-0 win over Brighton last time out.

Slight concern here for Arsenal as Kim Little is down and in need of some treatment.

Looks like Frida Maanum could be preparing to come on.
