Thatw as really good build uo from Man Utd, so patient in and around the box. Not trying to force it or take shots from distance.

Hayley Ladd finishes with aplomb, seemed to catch out Rebecca Spencer with an early finish.

Man Utd have been absolutely ruthless in this second half.

Surely that's all three points wrapped up for Manchester United.

Lucia Garcia rolls the ball to Hayley Ladd on the edge of the box. Rebecca Spencer doesn't spot it quickly enough and Ladd dinks it over her head.

It's turned into a very comfortable win for the Reds.

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

That's it for Leah Galton's evening.

    She's replaced by Rachel Williams.

  7. Postpublished at 83 mins

Rosella Ayane sends a tempting corner into the Manchester United box which falls to Angharrad James on the end of the area.

Her strike goes a long way over the crossbar.

    Two changes for Tottenham.

Ramona Petzelberger and Linyan Zhang replace Martha Thomas and Celin Bizet.

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

That was a great chance for United to make it fourth!

Geyse is inside the Tottenham box and through on goal, but her final product leaves a lot to be desired. She blasts past to the side of the near post.

  11. 'Credit to the travelling Man Utd fans'published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2023

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

    Helen Ward
Former Chelsea and Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Travelling anywhere on a Sunday evening, especially in London is never fun.

Credit to the Man Utd fans, they have travelled in good numbers, and have been making lots of noise all game long, particularly when the goals have gone in.

  12. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

Celin Bizet does everything right, timing her run well to find a gap in the United defence and have a sight of Mary Earps' goal.

Her shot leaves much to be desired, though. It's tame and easily saved.

  13. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

There's less than 20 minutes remaining now for Tottenham to find a way back into this one.

United have mostly shut them out in the second half and they're comfortable holding the ball.

  14. CLOSE!published at 70 mins

    That could've gone anywhere.

It's a lovely jinking run from Celin Bizet who beats a handful of Manchester United defenders before setting up Ria Percival for a shot.

It deflects off the head of Millie Turner and goes behind.

  15. 'Change understandable but Malard would have wanted that hat-trick'published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2023

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

    Helen Ward
Former Chelsea and Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I'd be really disappointed if I was Melvine Malard.

Yes it is a long season and there are plenty of games ahead so you can understand the manager wanting to protect her.

But she will still be a little disappointed, would have wanted the third goal. Could the manager not have given her an extra ten minutes to see if she could get that hat-trick goal?

  16. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

That's the end to Melvine Malard's evening, but she's been crucial for Manchester United tonight.

She's been involved in all of their goals, scoring twice and assisting another.

  18. 'Spurs can't let recent results define their season'published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2023

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

    Helen Ward
Former Chelsea and Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Tottenham need to make sure that these two results against Man City and Man Utd don't go on to define their season.

They will be looking forward to the winter break. Whether they can add to this squad in January remains to be seen.

From such a positive start to the season they will want to reset and make sure that this doesn't start to become a long, difficult run for them.

  19. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

United keep going forwards and there's little Spurs can do about it.

They try to launch the ball up to Kit Graham but once again Hayley Ladd wins possession in the middle of the park.

  20. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Tottenham 0-3 Man Utd

Manchester United had 73.3% possession in the first 15 minutes of the second half. They've been totally dominant since the restart.
