Stina Blackstenius enjoys scoring against this team doesn't she?
It should have been cleared by Brighton and it needs communication. Blackstenius has time to bring it down. Disappointing defending from Brighton.
Everton 2-1 Bristol City
Two chances in as many minutes for Everton!
Firstly smart interplay between Martina Piemonte and Aurora Galli gets Katja Snoejis in behind, but she is crowded out by the covering Bristol City defence.
Then stopper Olivia Clark is out again to deny Nicoline Sorensen on the angle, a fingertip stop to keep her side within a goal of the hosts.

Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
A chance for a second for Arsenal. A corner from the left finds Lotte Wubben-Moy, but she can't get her header on target and it goes well wide.
Everton 2-1 Bristol City
Ambitious effort from Aurora Galli. The ball sits up nicely on the edge of the box, and the midfielder attempts a volley.
However the ball flies harmlessly over the cross bar, and almost over the building housing the dressing rooms beyond the perimeter of the pitch.
Megan Finnigan (58 mins)
Captain Megan Finnigan gets another set piece goal to re-establish Everton's lead.
A change of angle on a corner kick sees Sorensen swing the ball into the box. The cross almost catches out Olivia Clark in the Bristol goal, but she gets a fingertip on the ball to deflect it away.
Justine Vanhaevermaet is first to the rebound but her follow up crashes against the bar.
Finally the ball falls to Megan Finnigan on the edge of the box, and the defender smashes the ball into the net between several Bristol City bodies.
Everton 1-1 Bristol City
An end to end start to this second half, visitors Bristol have come out with more intensity about their attacking play.
A dangerous cross from Carrie Jones on the left hand side forces Courtney Brosnan to rush out of her net and claim the ball above the head of striker Amalie Thestrup.
Stina Blackstenius
The Gunners strike first in Crawley. Katie McCabe has space on the left and it falls to Stina Blackstenius in the penalty area after Brighton fail to clear the danger.
The Swedish striker makes a mess of the first attempt with an air kick but is composed enough to spin, reset and then curl a finish into the net.
Everton 1-1 Bristol City
A golden opportunity for Martina Piemonte to grab her second of the game!
Katja Snoeijs with an excellent run down the left hand side, her cut back finds Piemonte with space on the corner of the box, but the Italian skews her shot well wide of the target.
Brighton 0-0 Arsenal
Emma Byrne
Former Ireland goalkeeper on Sky Sports
You feel Brighton will not have as many chances that they would like. So when they get chances they need to utilise them.
Everton 1-1 Bristol City
The ball is rolling once again in Merseyside.
Can either of these sides find a cutting edge to claim a much needed win?
HT: Everton 1-1 Bristol City
Penny for the thoughts of Everton boss Brian Sorensen heading into this next 45 minutes.
65.4% possession, 321 passes to Bristol's 167, 3 shots on target, 7 crosses into the box, but still only one goal to show for it.
His side's Achilles' heel has been scoring goals this season. Will it prove their undoing yet again here?
Brighton 0-0 Arsenal
And away we go!
Brighton v Arsenal (14:00 BST)
Victoria Pelova scored Arsenal's final goal and was named Player of the Match in their 4-0 win at Brighton in May, and Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall has been impressed by the Netherlands midfielder's recent form, calling her performance in their 6-2 win at Leicester last time out "so enjoyable".
"She's comfortable with the ball and can manage the one-v-one situations," observed Eidevall. "That’s a nice example and a role model for younger players to look up to, to see how you can manage those situations.
"I also know that that comes from her development, playing a lot against opposition in practice, growing up with a boys' team and being really challenged in those moments.
"I really see that when she plays, she’s comfortable in uncomfortable situations, which is what youth development should be all about.
"She’s game-intelligent, has great technique, is good both on and off the ball and shows both here but also with the national team that she can play a number of different positions.
"Lately, we think she gives the most value to the team when she’s playing in a central midfield position, which I also think is her preference to play in."
One player Brighton might be even more wary of is Beth Mead, who's been introduced from the bench in each of Arsenal's last four WSL games as part of her comeback from injury.
Mead has been involved in 11 goals in her nine WSL appearances against Brighton, scoring seven and setting up four. She has four goals and three assists in her last four outings against the Seagulls.
Brighton v Arsenal (14:00 GMT)
Arsenal
Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall, speaking on Sky Sports before the game. On Beth Mead's return: "I think she has been able to progress here for quite a long period of time and been practised well this week."
On Alessia Russo and Stina Blackstenius starting: "Sometimes it is one or the other or both. We have played them together against Manchester United but this will be another good opportunity to see that relationship work."
On building momentum: "We do not want to be slow starters, we want to keep clean sheets that is really important. It will certainly hep in the first-half if we keep that clean sheet and build."
On Brighton: "We expect a test and a competitive Brighton side. They have learned a lot from the Chelsea game and put in a good performance against Manchester United and Manchester City.
"We need to be ready for that."
Brighton v Arsenal (14:00 BST)
Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall spoke about the development of the women's game when he was asked about his Chelsea counterpart, Emma Hayes, becoming US national women's team manager at the end of this season.
"She’s done a great job at Chelsea and, for every manager, there comes a time when something has to end," he said. "That’s either your own decision or the club’s decision.
"What she wants to do is go out on a high. Why would I be surprised?
"With the growth of the WSL... the new broadcast deals, more teams investing, more and more games being played at bigger stadiums, I really think that women’s football is at a shifting point. A decade ago, the national teams were the priority."
Brighton v Arsenal (14:00 GMT)

Subs: Evrard, Startup, Pattinson, Sarri, Lee, Hawkesby, Pinto, Symonds, Rule
