Arsenal

Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall, speaking to Sky Sports after the game: "First half I was disappointed with our performance. We were too far away from Brighton in the way we pressed and we did not manage the transition well.

"Second half was a better performance and we managed the ball very well and a good mix of quick and sustainable attacks. Every game, of course, is unique.

"A lot of teams set up different against Arsenal, which takes time to get into. We come here away and have to get used to the pitch and stadium.

"I'm pleased even if things do not work perfectly, we still managed structure well which limits them [opposition].

"We created more chances than we saw against Manchester United and Manchester City and Brighton defended with a lot of players in their box. United and City struggled to create opportunities against Brighton.

"If you compare this game to the Liverpool game we are much better at breaking down the game."

Another Spurs attack, another Janina Leitzig save.

The ball is worked out wide to Rosella Ayane who shows some trickery to get past Courtney Nevin and drive the ball towards goal.

The Leicester keeper shows quick reactions to stick out a foot and deflect the ball behind.

City are causing so many problems in the air for United. Alex Greenwood and Allana Kennedy both go for the ball, Greenwood gets there just ahead of her team-mate and nods just over the crossbar.

Manchester City have started brightly and that is what they needed to do to quiet down the crowd here.

City will be hoping with the pressure they can get an early goal.

Hosts Leicester opt to also make a change, a double change, Ava Baker and Aimee Palmer come on in place of Hannah Cain and Jutta Rantala.

Ellie Brazil makes a long awaited return from injury for Spurs, replacing Grace Clinton in midfield.

Another City headed chance and this time Khadija Shaw gets some power on the header, but Mary Earps does well to dive to her left and hang on to the ball. City boss Gareth Taylor will be very encouraged by his side's start to this one.

After a largely open game chances are now at a premium.

Aston Villa seem content to hold what they have, soak up West Ham's pressure, and look to hit their opponents on the attack.

The Hammers, meanwhile, are struggling to find a way through an organised Villa backline.

City make a bright start by winning a corner on the left inside the opening 60 seconds and then a succession of headers with the hosts unable to clear, before the ball loops up for Mary Earps and it is easily dealt with by England's number one.

Tottenham look certain to score after Grace Clinton breaks beyond the Leicester back line.

She picks out Angharad James, who takes a few too many touches and is forced to pass on the ball rather than shoot.

It eventually falls to Rosella Ayane in the six yard box, but her shot on the turn is smothered by a combination of Janina Leitzig, Sophie Howard and Josie Green.

The game has just opened up all of a sudden, with both sides looking to catch each other out on the counter attack.

Celine Bizet drives forward into the Leicester half and finds Martha Thomas, but the Scotland forward's control is loose and any shooting opportunity is crowded out by covering Leicester defenders.

What an effort!

Leicester captain Sam Tierney finds herself in space on the edge of the box, she clears the ball out of her feet and unleashes a fierce drive towards the top corner.

The spin of the ball takes it inches too high of the net and it crashes back into play off the bar.

So, so close to restoring the home side's lead!

Double change for Tottenham after their equalising goal.

Ria Percival and Jessica Naz make way, and are replaced by Asmita Ale and Rosella Ayane.

Aston Villa look the more threatening since they took the lead but West Ham are still fighting.

Abbey-Leigh Stringer's header skims the top of the crossbar for the Hammers. Villa goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar had that covered, though.

Manchester City

On Alex Greenwood returning: "I think Alex Greenwood is vital to what we do, we have missed her. She has played in many big games so it is normal for her and a good boost for everyone but it is about the whole team stepping up."

On the team's form: "We have created a lot of chances and we need to be composed, calm and clinical in the top end of the pitch."

On the game today: "I think it is great, a potential 50,000 odd in attendance [today]. It is a big challenge and there are no easy games in the WSL.

"The Manchester derby is perfect for us but nothing changes for our approach. We will give anything we can. We have got good options with a strong bench and will see how the game goes. But everyone has pushed hard in training this week and I like the things I have seen."
