Leila Ouahabi had been beaten by Melvine Malard in almost exactly the same fashion a few times just before the build-up to the penalty.
Alex Greenwood is unfortunate because she had to block the shot but it's a stone-wall penalty.
It's a dream goal for Manchester-born Katie Zelem.
Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
Well, if there was one player that Tottenham would have chosen a late chance like that to fall to, it would have been the current WSL top scorer Martha Thomas.
If Leicester do hold on for a point here, they will have goalkeeper Janina Leitzig to thank for her heroics this afternoon.

It is a handball from Alex Greenwood.
Against the run of play, Manchester City have been the better team so far, but with the players Manchester United have in the final third they will create chances.
Well done to Katie Zelem she had a lot of pressure there.
Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
Martha Thomas receives the ball on the edge of the box, turns, clears it out of her feet, and fires a rasping shot towards goal.
As has been said so often this afternoon, Janina Leitzig is equal to the strike, parrying it well clear of danger.
Katie Zelem (penalty)
Captain Katie Zelem puts Manchester United ahead. She opts for power with her penalty, City goalkeeper Khiara Keating gets a hand to the ball but can't keep it out.
Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
Another change for Leicester, youngster Denny Draper comes on to replace CJ Bott for the final few minutes.
Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
An Alex Greenwood handball, with her arms outstretched to block Melvine Malard's shot.
No complaints from Greenwood, who is booked. Katie Zelem to take the spot-kick.

Mary Earps comes up with that save!
Great run from Khadija Shaw but unfortunately this is summing her season up so far she has to score there.
Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
The best moment of the match so far. Manchester City centre-forward Khadija Shaw is played through and finds herself with only Mary Earps to beat.
Shaw opts for power and tries to score at the near post, but Earps stays big, gets her hand to the shot and makes an excellent save to keep it goalless.
Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
It is certainly the visitors Tottenham who are finishing the stronger of the sides. They look to have more energy and more willingness to push forward in search of a winner.
Leicester seem content to try and see things out for a point, a result that would see them stop a run of three straight defeats.
Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
Manchester United, maybe for the first time, get into the City penalty area with a purposeful break led by Melvine Malard, who shows great skill to flick the ball around Leila Ouahbi as she runs from the edge of her penalty area into City territory.
Malard slides a pass to Toone but there is not enough power on the following cross from the England international and it is cut out before it can reach its intended target of Geyse in the middle.

Another mistake from Mary Earps as she's closed down by Lauren Hemp and gets away with it.
City are pressing so high and United can't work around it. Earps is still trying to play it short and it's not working.
FT: Brighton 0-3 Arsenal
Arsenal
More from Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall, speaking to Sky Sports.
On Kyra Cooney-Cross: "You can see her qualities. She is an explosive player, has a good work-rate and she is showcasing the qualities for why we brought her in."
On Alessia Russo and Stina Blackstenius: "You could see the partnership in there. One good player [Alessia Russo] receiving the ball at her feet and one player [Stina Blackstenius] with the ball in behind.
"It takes time, but we have a competitive squad, you saw that today with players coming off the bench and doing really well."

A little too eager there from Ellie Brazil
Her initial run down the left hand side was good, using her pace to break past multiple Leicester challenges. Yet her end product is left wanting.
Instead of seeking out a teammate in the box, she strikes the ball towards the far post, and it harmlessly hits the side netting.
Lisa Evans
A magnificent strike from super sub Lisa Evans gets West Ham back on level terms.
Evans picks up the ball from a Viviane Asseyi knockdown on the edge of the box and strikes a crisp half-volley into the top-right corner.
There's 10 minutes to go. Can either side find a winner?
Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
Manchester United make their first attack and the noise levels instantly rise. But they can't do much with it though as Ella Toone is 25 yards out with the ball at her feet, but she takes too long to be decisive and is tackled.
Leicester 1-1 Tottenham
The home fans are doing their best to lift their team as we head towards the final ten minutes of this contest.
It sure feels a long time since Leicester last threatened the Tottenham penalty area.

It's been a great start by Manchester City. United just can't get going. When they do have it, goalkeeper Mary Earps has sent some wayward clearances straight back to City.
Her last one was met with annoyance by manager Marc Skinner and he exchanged a look with Earps, who returned it by flapping her arms.

On Alex Greenwood's header...
It is great ball from Chloe Kelly and City will now be playing to get set-pieces.
It is huge to have Alex Greenwood back. She is important on and off the ball and having lost their past two games they will be happy to have her back.
