  1. 'This is Chelsea's problem, they're not clinical enough'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

Two great chances in the space of a few minutes for Chelsea.

Sometimes this can be Chelsea's problem, they create so much but they aren't clinical. Then they get panicky because the other team come out and attack.

It was the same against Paris FC. Chelsea had chances and all of a sudden Paris were on level terms when they should not have been because of the sheer amount of chances Chelsea had made.

They can't afford to do that, they have to get the ball in the back of the net soon enough.

Linda Caicedo might not be continuing for long.

She still looks to be in some pain with her ankle and has just had a word with her manager.

    Argh!

So, so close for Chelsea again.

The ball spills for Guro Reiten on the left-hand side, she chops it back towards Erin Cuthbert, but Cuthbert can't get a shot away in front of an open goal.

  4. 'Leupolz giving the ball away far too often in midfield'published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

I could see Emma Hayes making a change at half time or perhaps early in the second half with Melanie Leupolz.

She has given the ball away far too much. That is something you cannot afford to do in the midfield area at this level. I think that could happen sooner rather than later.

    Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid

    Chelsea come close again.

Erin Cuthbert sends a ball through two Real Madrid defenders and Guro Reiten is nearly one-on-one, but Kenti Robles rushes back and clears for a corner.

Guro Reiten has just come across to chat with Emma Hayes. She's clearly spotted an issue.

Hayes immediately turned back to her assistants, presumably to come up with some kind of masterplan to counter-act it.

Play is back in full swing now, and Chelsea are working their way towards Real once again.

The Chelsea fans are chanting to try and build up some more energy for the hosts.

Well, perhaps it wasn't as bad as it first looked.

Linda Caicedo is back on the pitch.

    Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid

How Madrid are playing at the moment, countering and attacking at pace, that is Linda Caicedo's game to a tee.

Madrid will be hoping that she can recover and get back on the pitch because it would be a huge blow to lose her. Yes they only have pride to play for now but they and she will want to win here.

Ouch. Concern for Linda Caicedo. Kadeisha Buchanan slides in rashly and catches Caicedo then Jess Carter accidentally stands on her.

She instantly put her arm up calling for medical assistance but she's on her feet, walking around the touchline with medical staff now.

It looks like it's her ankle.

I think Chelsea are a little fortunate not to have conceded a penalty as well, although we've had the beauty of hindsight from several replays.

That is such a sad sight to see.

Linda Caicedo is in tears as she goes off, she won't be continuing.

The 18-year-old has had injury troubles before.

Madrid have a corner but it's immediately punched away by Hannah Hampton.

This does not look good for Linda Caicedo.

She's crawled off the side of the pitch and is receiving some treatment.

    Oh no.

Linda Caicedo gets behind the Chelsea defence but goes down under a challenge from Kadeisha Buchanan and is holding her ankle.

She looks to be in some pain.

Momentum has shifted a little bit.

Real Madrid have seen a lot more of the ball and they are doing more with it when they have it. It is about capitalising on the moments now.

From Chelsea's point of view they need to get hold of the game again.

    Ooooh!

Niamh Charles sends a delivery into the Real Madrid, Mylene Chavas spills her catch, but a Real Madrid defender is switched on and launches the ball up the pitch before any Chelsea forward can take advantage.

The noise has dropped a little at Stamford Bridge because it just feels like Chelsea's tempo has lowered and they are under a bit of pressure.

    Bit nervy.

    Nobody saw that happening.

Real Madrid play a training-ground routine and pass the ball to the edge of the box from a corner, and Ashley Lawrence is called into action to block a first-time shot behind.

You might remember runs like that from Linda Caicedo in the World Cup.

The 18-year-old turns Ashley Lawrence inside out, but Chelsea put the ball behind for a corner.
