Chelsea have yet another corner after Melanie Leupolz does well to spot Guro Reiten behind the Real Madrid defence, but Real kick the ball away.

They can't make anything of the corner and it goes straight behind for a goal kick.

Chelsea are comfortable in possession and Niamh Charles is so high up the pitch that when Madrid do win the ball back they need to target that area as quickly as possible.

Hayley Raso is a really good dribbler of the ball, and at speed as well, that is when Chelsea will be most vulnerable, on that side when Charles is advanced up the pitch.

That's the threat from Real Madrid that Chelsea need to be wary of. Niamh Charles was so high up and we all know the pace Hayley Raso has.

Chelsea lose the ball for a minute and Real Madrid are lightning-quick on the counter-attack.

Hayley Raso races forwards before playing the ball to Linda Caicedo, but her first touch is too heavy and Hannah Hampton pounces on the ball.

It's non-stop from Chelsea!

Fran Kirby sends a through-ball towards Mia Fishel, but she gets it trapped under her feet and Kathellen is there to snatch the ball from her feet.

Chelsea are having a lot of success going forwards.

Fran Kirby tries to send a cross into the box but can't find any teammates before Johanna Rytting Kaneryd doesn't have enough support to find anyone with a pass.

The spaces Chelsea are finding in between... The crowd are getting excited every time they go forward because Real Madrid just aren't closing them down.

Real Madrid are just really slow at picking up Guro Reiten's runs.

That's twice now in the space of a few minutes, the ball has come out to Niamh Charles and Reiten has made an underlapping run that no one has read or tracked.

Niamh Chares slots through Guro Rieten, who spins the ball into the box and it dips towards the goal, but Mylene Chavas does well to beat it away.

That was probably a cross from Reiten, but it ended up being more dangerous than expected.

Chelsea can't make anything of that corner, though, and Kadeisha Buchanan's header goes straight into Mylene Chavas' arms.

It's been a bit back and forth in the opening minutes.

It looks like Real Madrid are targeting Niamh Charles side because she is so front footed, so they are aiming to exploit that gap between her and Jess Carter on that left hand side.

Chelsea just need to move the ball a little bit quicker in the final third.

Her cross is knocked behind for another Chelsea corner.

We had a perfect view of Fran Kirby's picture in that moment a few seconds ago.

It looked like a gap would open up for a curler towards the top right corner but in typical Kirby fashion, she spotted the run of Erin Cuthbert and timed her pass to perfection.

The angle was just too tight but that was a good chance.

That's Chelsea's first real dangerous moment.

Fran Kirby has the ball on the edge of the box and slots through Erin Cuthbert, but her shot is well stopped by Mylene Chavas.

Nice move.

It's Real Madrid's turn to go forward now and Hayley Raso, free on the right, tries to pick out a player in the box.

There's nobody there and Chelsea intercept.

Chelsea have started brightly in this one and have already found some success going down the wings and trying to get behind the Real defence.

Guro Reiten tries to work past her defender on the left but can't make it through.
