  1. 'Goal will give Russo loads of confidence'published at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

Getting the goal will give Russo loads of confidence and coming off the back of international goals as well will really help her. It’s difficult for Russo, especially when she is a player that goes into games for both club and country knowing around the 65 minute mark she will be coming off. It’s difficult knowing that’s potentially going to happen.

  2. Postpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

It's not like Bristol City haven't had chances.

Lisa Evans seizes a loose pass and nearly takes it past Brighton goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley, but Baggaley does enough to claw the ball away.

  3. Postpublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

That was the 40th goal that Bristol City have conceded in the WSL this season.

They've conceded 22 of those in first halves.

  4. 'Arsenal struggled towards the end'published at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

That’s what Arsenal needed to keep themselves in with a chance of a title. Getting three points in a London derby is difficult. They’ve done that, but they could have done it much easier. They allowed Tottenham to stay in the game by not putting away the chances they created early in the game. We saw at the end Tottenham really pushed them and Arsenal struggled towards the end.

  5. 'A little bit of quality the difference'published at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Just that little bit of quality, a flash in the pan, a few seconds of brilliance was the difference on the day. There can't be any complaints from the manager or fans, they've got the three points and that's what everyone will have wanted.

  6. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

Just the one goal in it and it was a lovely finish from Alessia Russo. We'll bring you all the reaction to Arsenal's win over Spurs as we get it.

  7. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 0-2 Liverpoolpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Sophie Haug

It's gone from bad to worse very quickly for Aston Villa.

Fuka Nagano crosses in from the left, it gets a flick on towards the back post and Sophie Haug is in the right place at the right time to head it home.

  8. Postpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool

There's a blur of claret and blue in the Aston Villa box trying to keep Liverpool from doubling their lead.

Carla Ward's side are looking very vulnerable at the back, but they eventually get the ball to safety after blocking Jasmine Matthews's shot.

  9. goal

GOAL - Bristol City 0-2 Brightonpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Pauline Bremer (24 mins)

They have another! Two goals in four minutes for Brighton.

Pauline Bremer shows her poachers' instinct, hitting the post with her initial effort but running towards goal after her strike and being in the right place to follow up the rebound.

Lauren Smith made it clear that every game is a must-win for Bristol City as they look to stay up. They've got a lot of work to do if they're going to find a way back.

  10. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Bristol City 0-1 Brighton

If there's one Bristol City player who you want to have the ball in that area, it's Carrie Jones.

She picks up a pass on the edge of the box and tries to curl it past Sophie Baggaley, but the Brighton keeper times her dive well to catch her effort.

    Better from the hosts.

  11. Postpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool

That Grace Fisk goal, her first for the club, takes Liverpool up to fourth in the WSL table.

For now, that is. Manchester United, who were fourth at the start of proceedings today, are in action against West Ham shortly.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Bristol City 0-1 Brighton

Going behind clearly frustrated Bristol City.

Ella Powell throws the ball away as Brighton have a throw-in after the restart and she's handed a booking by the referee.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

Far from easy for Arsenal but they get the job done in the North London derby and move level on points with Chelsea in the Women's Super League.

  14. Postpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

We're well over the allotted seven minutes of added time as Arsenal just keep hold of the ball. Seconds to go.

  15. goal

GOAL - Bristol City 0-1 Brightonpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Elisabeth Terland (20 mins)

    Who else?

Brighton have had the better start and they have found the breakthrough.

The visitors have a corner which is flicked towards the back post by Guro Bergsvand.

Elisabeth Terland is waiting there to poke it home from close range, scoring her 10th of the season.

  16. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool

Aston Villa have responded well since conceding.

Kenza Dali makes a darting run in from the left and unleashes a strike just outside the penalty area, but it's straight at Rachael Laws and it's a simple catch for the Liverpool goalkeeper.

  17. 'This would be a massive win for Arsenal'published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

It's been trickier to negotiate this win than fans would've liked, but if Arsenal can see out these last few seconds, it's a massive win for them.

  18. Postpublished at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

Glorious through ball but Amy James-Turner couldn't get it under control. Bit of fatigue, maybe, as that would've been a good opportunity. The defender seems to have moved up front to provide Beth England with a bit of support in these late stages.

  19. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Bristol City 0-0 Brighton

    Oooh.

That's the best chance of the game so far.

Elisabeth Terland produces a lovely bit of footwork on the edge of the area before sliding the ball across to Veatriki Sarri.

Sarri sets herself up before hitting it first time, but she pulls her shot wide of the far post.

  20. 'Arsenal have been pretty blunt up front'published at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Tottenham put five at the back and really congested it, Arsenal struggled to break them down. A quick bit of one touch play from Beth Mead to set up Russo opened them up, but barring that, Arsenal have been pretty blunt up front.
