No player has really stood out and shone, Kim Little has been in the right place at the right time. She has gone severely under the radar.

It's not been vintage Arsenal or the polished performance this capacity crowd were after, but given the 48 hours preparation for both sides, it's understandable.

Less than two minutes remain for Arsenal to see out this and take all three points. It's not been as comfortable as some might have expected but it keeps the Gunners' title hopes alive.

A point for Liverpool against Aston Villa today would mean Matt Beard’s side have equalled their points tally of 23 from last season. The Reds are fifth in the Women’s Super League, two points behind Manchester United in fourth.

Asked whether fourth place is a realistic target, Beard said: "We're in and around it right now. We said at the start of the year it's about progress and making sure we improve on what we produced last year.

“We are in a good position on that front. We will do as much as we can to finish as high up the league table as we can."
