  1. Leaders 'stood up when we needed them'published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Crystal Palace

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports: "All three of our leaders were outstanding. Madders [James Maddison] and Romero [Cristian Romero] were involved in the second goal, Sonny [Son Heung-min] with the third goal. It is a credit to them. They have a strong mentality and lead by example. They stood up when we needed them.

"The supporters have been outstanding. They have real belief in what we are trying to do. We still have a long way to go in terms of being the football team we want to but I don't think they have ever come to the stadium and thought the lads have not given everything."

  2. 'We feel disappointed'published at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    FT: Brentford 2-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "In the second half we didn't keep the level that we showed in the first half, we played really well [in the first half].

"I am pleased with that, but after that we did not start so well in the second half.

"When we conceded it changed the game and the game was open. It was a difficult to control the game and we didn't score when we had some chances to lead the game.

"Then when we conceded the second we showed the character to draw. One point is important for the team, in six days we have had three games and therefore it is massive."

On the second half performance: "Brentford increased the level and won challenges. We suffered with the crosses from open play.

"The way we conceded we feel disappointed and we should control it better."

  3. Should Liverpool's goal have stood?published at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-1 Liverpool

    Nottingham Forest

Ex-Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg, now Nottingham Forest officials adviser, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "As a club Nottingham Forest have felt one or two decisions that have gone against the club; Newcastle United, West Ham [results].

"Clear decisions where the Premier League and PGMOL have accepted that it is a mistake, today is another example where the law is quite clear.

"The law states that if the referee is going to stop the game, which he is entitled to do for an head injury, if there is a head injury.

"However, the ball has to go back to the team which has the possession and Nottingham Forest had the possession."

Getting a bit bored with the “Luton deserve to stay up brigade”. They’re in the bottom three for a reason. Fighting spirit etc. etc. does not keep you in the Premier League. If you keep losing games, you'll likely get relegated.

Feeling for Luton. What a story. Keep the faith, boys!

    Ryan

I get all the love for Luton, but they are in the relegation zone despite another team being deducted points. Plenty of teams don’t win games they deserve to, I’m not sure how Luton deserve to be higher in the league? They are currently exactly where the deserve to be, which is still admirable given their spend and the previous points deductions.

Luton really don’t deserve to be as low as they are in the table, let alone face the prospect of going back down. The spirit, the fightbacks, the way they have taken top teams to the wire. Easily the most enjoyable team to watch in the relegation fight.

Talk about fine margins. Villa, who have had that little bit of extra quality, are moments away from a seventh Premier League away win.

I think Luton will be fuming, it was a great ball in from Moussa Diaby, but Luton have worked so hard they have to stop the cross - it's a body blow for them.

Luton looking the more likely to win this as we go into the closing minutes. This could make Villa’s next game against Tottenham a Champion’s League decider.
