  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:17 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Luton 0-2 Aston Villa

    Almost 3-0!

It's far too east for Villa as Morgan Rogers is afforded loads of space outside the box before letting fly which forces a fine full-stretch save by Thomas Kaminski.

Adrian: Forget all the talk about Osimhen, Chelsea should give a blank cheque to Villa for Watkins. Clearly capable at this level, remarkably consistent and he's English as well.

You have to admire the movement. They are sharp Villa and this is a deserved two-goal lead.

It is too easy at the moment. Watkins is so sharp and so dangerous. They look so effective going forward.

    Luton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Mark Warburton

Well played Rogers. He receives the ball, opens it out and finds Watkins in behind. It's the same tactics and movements from Aston Villa, and Luton can't deal with it.

I've not been Ollie Watkins biggest fan. But he really does look super fit, sharp and hungry for goals. Emery has worked wonders. Should be a shoe in for the Euros.

    Luton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Mark Warburton
Former Brentford boss on BBC Radio 5 Live

I am so impressed tactically with Aston Villa.

They tuck in and help the defence and then when they go forward they have two very willing runners at full-back. Matty Cash will run all day.

A change for Villa. Morgan Rogers is on for Jacob Ramsey who has been hobbling around for a while now.

It's not hard to shine in a Luton team.. no disrespect meant here, but Barkley is comfortable being the big fish in a small pond, same as when he was at Everton. The problem is he can't cope at a big club and gets lost amongst the stars. Decent player, but the better clubs want better than decent.

Luton's defensive woes continue. They have now conceded 11 times in two-and-a-bit games. They need to sort that out if they are to stay up.

Fifteen goals and 10 assists in the Premier League this season. Surely Ollie Watkins is heading to Germany this summer.

  18. 'Poor goal to concede for Luton'published at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Luton 0-1 Aston Villa

    Mark Warburton
Former Brentford boss on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a great finish, great delivery and Luton know the threat posed by Aston Villa in the set-piece.

But they have conceded a goal they really shouldn't have. Poor goal to concede from a Luton perspective.

    Of course it's Ollie Watkins!

Luton boss Rob Edwards will be seriously unhappy with his side's defending as Watkins loses his marker to head past Thomas Kaminski from a set-piece.

    It's all Villa.

Ollie Watkins uses his pace to create space to deliver a cross intended for Jacob Ramsey inside the box but Thomas Kaminski is alert to the danger and cuts it out.
