Real Madrid 1-1 RB Leipzig (2-1 agg)

Dani Olmo of RB Leipzig has a chance for the visitors, looking to grab the goal that would take us into extra time. Not this time though.

He doesn't realise how much time he has got at the edge of the penalty area and the scruffy, hurried effort dribbles well wide.

A rugby injury to the football player, it's so hard to watch. Stay strong, Nunes.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Man City 3-1 FC Copenhagen (6-2 agg)

Manchester-born Micah Hamilton is on for the final 15 minutes or so for Matheus Nunes. Pep Guardiola was going to bring off Erling Haaland but changed his mind after Nunes' injury.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Real Madrid 1-1 RB Leipzig (2-1 agg)

The cards are coming fast at the Bernabeu. Toni Kroos of Real the next to see one for a cynical trip on the lively Xavi Simons.

  5. Postpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Real Madrid 1-1 RB Leipzig (2-1 aggregate)

Real's Aurelien Tchouameni is the next to see yellow. Xavi Simons is too fast for him, Tchouameni leans on him and concedes the foul.

Real are sleeping from the resulting free-kick and Leipzig captain Willi Orban, who has just scored the first, is free and unmarked to head the ball.

He doesn't go for goal, instead opting for Lois Openda, whose effort is blocked. Orban may well be regretting his option there and should've gone for goal himself.

    Manchester City injury alert!

Matheus Nunes is down and receiving treatment. It looks like he has dislocated a finger and looks in some discomfort.

Man City just seem a bit flat in the last 10 minutes. They obviously think the job is done and they've taken their foot off the gas.

Man City 3-1 FC Copenhagen (6-2 agg)

We've just reached the 70-minute mark. Erling Haaland remains on the pitch.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Real Madrid 1-1 RB Leipzig (2-1 aggregate)

Willi Orban has got a goal and now he's got a yellow card, diving in on Jude Bellingham.

Orban may have got a touch on the ball before sliding through the England man, but the ref says yellow.

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is my only downside with Pep Guardiola. He's got three youngsters on the bench and it's the perfect chance to put them on the pitch and give them some game time.

Pep with one eye on the Liverpool game. He has the luxury of being able to change players like for like - even inexperienced. Anyone coming into this side would ooze confidence.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:29 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Man City 3-1 FC Copenhagen (6-2 agg)

John Stones finally gets on the pitch. Rúben Dias, who is wearing the captain's armband tonight, makes way.

FC Copenhagen have sent on Oscar Højlund, brother of Rasmus. Andreas Cornelius has also been sent on.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Man City 3-1 FC Copenhagen (6-2 agg)

Credit to Copenhagen who have not thrown in the towel.

Ederson is forced to make a fine save to deny substitute Magnus Mattsson.

  14. goal

    GOAL - Real Madrid 1-1 RB Leipzig (2-1 agg)published at 68 mins

    Willi Orban (RB Leipzig)

It's not done yet for Real Madrid. They should clear it but Dani Carvajal makes a mess of a clearance, RB Leipzig come again and a cross from the left is met by a diving header from Willi Orban.

He gets there ahead of Nacho at the near post and has enough skill to guide the header past Andriy Lunin. Lovely finish. Game back on.

John Stones is about to come on. Right decision with such a big game at the weekend?

I think Matheus Nunes is a squad player and he's been bought for numbers but I certainly do like watching him.

Pep Guardiola has his head in his hands.

His team have not looked particularly convincing playing it out from the back.

They almost gift the visitors a chance after losing possession in a dangerous position.

  19. goal

    GOAL - Real Madrid 1-0 RB Leipzig (2-0 agg)published at 65 mins

    Vinicius Jr

That could be the goal that takes Real Madrid through and all credit to Jude Bellingham with an excellent assist.

He collects the ball 30 yards from his own goal after Toni Kroos wins the ball and Bellingham has the skill and pace to charge forwards.

He slides a pass to Vinicius Jr and he hits it first time high and hard, past Peter Gulacsi to double Real's overall advantage.

Real Madrid 0-0 RB Leipzig (1-0 agg)

This is an effort on target though for Real. Rodrygo tries a shot first time when racing on to a pass forwards and Peter Gulacsi in the Leipzig goal has his angles spot on and gets down well to save it at the near post. Decent save and Real's best move by a long distance.
