Vinicius Jr has been kept quiet so far. He tries to release Dani Carvajal, but there's too much on the cross-field ball and it drifts harmlessly out of play for Real.

The chance of Copenhagen putting five past City now is unlikely, but Leipzig netting two against Real Madrid has potential, and wouldn't we love to see it.

Toni Kroos is the calmest man in the Bernabeu. He looks under pressure inside his own penalty area, but drops a shoulder as he is closed down then sprays a lovely pass out wide to clear the danger.

    Mohamed Elyounoussi

Another game without a clean sheet for Manchester City!

To be fair to Ederson, that's a gorgeous finish by former Southampton player Mohamed Elyounoussi.

He slots it past City's keeper with confidence after a clever flick by Orri Oskarsson

Man City 2-0 FC Copenhagen (5-1 agg)

This is like an exhibition match.

They've just had a passage of play where Manchester City had the ball for almost FIVE MINUTES without a Copenhagen player getting a touch.

Real Madrid 0-0 RB Leipzig (1-0 agg)

Once again Federico Valverde tries to link up with a late-running Jude Bellingham. The England man tries to fire a shot at goal from a tight angle but his run is superbly tracked by Leipzig skipper Willi Orban and he's tight enough to block the ball for a corner.

The set piece comes to nothing though. The Valverde-Bellingham link up has been one of the bright spots in a tough opening 28 minutes for Real.

  10. 'Cruise control'published at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    Man City 2-0 FC Copenhagen

    Shay Given
Former Manchester City goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester City are in cruise control. Copenhagen will be kicking themselves for giving away early goals.

Real Madrid 0-0 RB Leipzig (1-0 agg)

David Raum is having an impact moving forwards from left back for RB Leipzig, but this time his cross takes a deflection and the ball loops up harmlessly for home keeper Andriy Lunin to gather.

Man City 2-0 FC Copenhagen (5-1 agg)

Manchester City are not even out of third gear yet they look like they could score each time they pour forward. Oscar Bobb almost creates another opening inside the box. Copenhagen's players are being given the runaround.

106 goals in 42-and-a-bit league and cup games for Manchester City this season.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Real Madrid 0-0 RB Leipzig (1-0 agg)

Xaver Schlager of Leipzig gets the first yellow of the night in Spain and can have no complaints, deliberately blocking off Vinicius Jr's run as the Brazilian looked to race through after Real turned over the ball and sprung a counter attack.

  16. 'Lewis is outstanding'published at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    Man City 2-0 FC Copenhagen

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I really like Rico Lewis, I think he's an outstanding player. He's shown he's very tactically astute with moving into midfield from that right back position.

RB Leipzig have been by far the better side but seem to lack the conviction to take the chances they've created! Two guilt edged opportunities for Openda and he hasn't hit the target with either!

A long night ahead for the Danish champions.
