    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

I don't make big calls because it comes round and bites you!

But I hope that the title race comes down to the last day, I want it to be exciting.

In the WSL anyone can beat anyone on their day, I think there's a few teams that will still have a say on where the title goes.

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

That was Matilda Vinberg's first Women's Super League goal since joining the club in January.

    Nightmare start for the visitors.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Liverpool 3-1 West Ham

A comfortable afternoon for Liverpool. They keep pace with Manchester United in the battle for fourth.

Matt Beard's side have the Merseyside derby against Everton next weekend. This is a nice warm-up for that.

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

There's 15 minutes or so to go for Brighton to somehow get back into this.

It's not looking particularly likely right now so this seagull is probably just starting to think about the chips they're going to nick on the pier after.

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Leicesterpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Matilda Vinberg (2 mins)

    Well, that didn't take long.

All too easy for Tottenham and Jessica Naz's delivery over the top finds Matilda Vinberg at the back post. It's an easy tap in for the Sweden international.

You can tell by the way the game was going that we had been waiting for the next [City] goal to happen.

Well worked corner, Yui Hasegawa does well to pick out Bunny Shaw in the middle, who does well to climb up and head the ball in past Sophie Baggaley.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Man Utd 2-0 Bristol City

All over at Leigh Sports Village.

Man Utd were far from their best, only having two shots on target, but Lisa Naalsund's double wraps up the points.

Marc Skinner's side have the Manchester derby against neighbours City at Etihad Stadium next Saturday.

  10. goal

GOAL - Brighton 0-3 Man Citypublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Khadija Shaw (69 mins)

Yui Hasegawa sends in a lovely ball and Khadija Shaw leaps highest to head into the back of the net.

That's her 17th goal of the season so far and keeps her comfortably ahead in the race for the Golden Boot.

The title race is shaping up pretty nicely, too.

  11. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 2-0 Bristol Citypublished at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Lisa Naalsund

    Game over.

Lisa Naalsund has her second. She meets a corner from the right and hooks into the bottom far corner.

It's a nice finish to go with her solo goal earlier. United have laboured but they are set to pick up all three points.

  12. 'It could have easily been a red card'published at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

Jorelyn Carabali is a very, very lucky player. It could have easily been a red card.

Bunny Shaw has the beating of her. What she does well Shaw is that she stays around Carabali, she knows she is chasing her and does well to invite the contact for the free kick.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

Jorelyn Carabali is into the book for a foul on Khadija Shaw.

It's right on the edge of the area and the Brighton defender drags the City forward down. Perhaps lucky to get away with a yellow, there.

Alex Greenwood goes for goal on the resulting freekick but Sophie Baggaley punches away.

  14. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 3-1 West Hampublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Riko Ueki

    A late twist?

It's a mix-up from Liverpool with Rachael Laws pass too short for Niamh Fahey, who has her back to the play.

It allows Riko Ueki to slide in and put the ball into an empty net from 22 yards.

  15. 'Introduction of Geum-min a bold move'published at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

With Lee Geum-min she is very direct, likes to press you, be all over you, won't give you the time on the ball. She never gives up either, just keeps running.

She has gone central and Elisabeth Terland looks to have been brought out wide to the right hand side.

A very bold, positive move from Mikey Harris.

  16. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:52 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Man Utd 1-0 Bristol City

We'll have a minimum of eight minutes added on at Leigh Sports Village.

Bristol City make another change with Lisa Evans replacing Ffion Morgan.

  17. Postpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Man Utd 1-0 Bristol City

    Close again for the hosts.

Katie Zelem's free-kick is flicked goalwards by Lucia Garcia but it goes just wide.

The hosts have still only had one shot on target.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

Madison Haley makes way for former Manchester City player Lee Geum-Min and Maisie Symonds replaces Vicky Losada for the hosts.

  19. Postpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Liverpool 3-0 West Ham

Liverpool are completely dominating this game.

Shanice van de Sanden is poked through but her effort is smothered by Mackenzie Arnold.

  20. Postpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2024

    Brighton 0-2 Man City

Lauren Hemp drives towards the edge of the area but she's brought down before she can get a shot away.

I wonder if Gareth Taylor will stick some fresh legs on soon to wake this game up a bit?
