Kovacic is a beautiful footballer, a wonderful technician. He's not someone whose going to break through teams, but I'm surprised Chelsea let him go.

When you look at Chelsea's midfield now without him in it, Kovacic with a young side they were trying to build could have really helped those young players to improve.

No goal for Erling Haaland this evening and that is his job done.

Julian Alvarez replaces him as City look to see this one out.

Sven Botman is going to have to come off, Swedish defender Emil Krafth replaces him.

Great to watch from Bobb and Foden, Haaland joining up for the last little bit. It would've been a brilliant goal. A great little move, City are enjoying themselves now.

Phil Foden and Oscar Bobb link up sublimely around the edge of the area and Bobb finds Erling Haaland, who barges his way through two Newcastle defenders but, after all that effort, he's off balance and can't get his shot on target.

It pings out for a corner.

I've seen a bit of Oscar Bobb for Man City and I like what I see. His goal against Newcastle earlier this season was one of the goals of the season for me.

Pep Guardiola looking to just take a bit of momentum out of this one with a change.
