Liverpool gave Manchester City a bit of a going over at times in the second half at Anfield last weekend - but I just don't see Newcastle doing the same to them at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola always goes strong in the FA Cup and, even with Kevin de Bruyne out injured, City will be hard to stop. I am expecting to see Erling Haaland back on the scoresheet after he bagged five against Luton in the last round.

City are my tip to go and win the FA Cup again this year. They won't do another Treble though.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-1

A double Treble could well be on the cards for Manchester City this season. But manager Pep Guardiola is keen to play down that possibility.

"The last two or three weeks of the season, I'll think about that," said Guardiola.

As well as their home FA Cup tie with Newcastle, City are third in the Premier League - a point behind Arsenal and Liverpool - and face Real Madrid in the last eight of the Champions League, fuelling hope of achieving more history.

"I don't think about that," the City boss added.

They could become the first English side to win successive Trebles if they defend all three titles - the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League - this campaign.

  3. Team news - Grealish returns to bench, Gordon startspublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

Man City v Newcastle (17:30 GMT)

Pep Guardiola makes five changes to the Manchester City side that drew 1-1 against Liverpool last time out.

In comes goalkeeper Stefan Ortega for the injured Ederson while Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol enter the defence, replacing Nathan Ake and John Stones.

Kevin de Bruyne is out with a groin injury and is replaced by Mateo Kovacic, while Jeremy Doku starts and Julian Alvarez drops to the bench.

Man City XI: Ortega, Walker, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, Rodri, Kovacic, Foden, Bernardo, Haaland, Doku

Subs: Carson, Stones, Alvarez, Grealish, Ake, Gomez, Nunes, Bobb, Lewis

    Manchester City team v Newcastle

Eddie Howe makes two changes to the Newcastle United side that lost 3-2 to Chelsea earlier in the week.

Tino Livramento is injured and does not even feature on the bench for the visitors.

Anthony Gordon starts - despite picking up a knee injury against Chelsea - alongside Joe Willock and Alexander Isak.

In comes Jamaal Lascelles and Jacob Murphy in the absence of Livramento and Miguel Almiron.

Newcastle XI: Dubravka, Schar, Murphy, Burn, Lascelles, Botman, Guimaraes, Longstaff, Willock, Gordon, Isak

Subs: Karius, Dummett, Ritchie, Targett, Krafth, Hall, Almiron, Anderson, Miley
