The Champions League is Dortmund's best chance of silverware this season.

They are out of the German Cup and sit fourth in the Bundesliga, 20 points off top.

"Our season is not over yet," Dortmund coach Edin Terzic said.

"We've got a huge chance and we want to invest everything for it.

"We can go in with a good feeling - we've earned that after some hard work in the first leg."

PSV coach Peter Bosz is returning to the side who sacked him a few years back.

Bosz only lasted seven months in charge, winning six Bundesliga games before getting the boot in December 2017.

"I know from experience it can get very loud," said Bosz of the famous Dortmund atmosphere.

"At the beginning, the atmosphere will be very good for Dortmund. But when we play our best football, it might quieten down a bit. That's up to us."

Simeone is great and he gets this crowd behind the team. The manager is very passionate and outspoken, and up and down the touchline.

As we are sat here, we are right in front of the home dugout so I'm sure we will get a perfect view of it.

PSV have previously visited Signal Iduna Park only once, drawing 1-1 in the group stage of the 2002-03 Champions League.

In fact, the sides have only met three times before, including the 1-1 draw in the first leg of this year's last-16 tie.

Dortmund have never lost to their Dutch counterparts, but could that change this evening?

Coming into tonight's Champions League match, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have beaten each other once from just two meetings between the clubs.

Of course, Inter edged tonight's hosts at San Siro in the first leg of this year's last-16 tie, but Atleti tasted victory in the Uefa Super Cup final in 2010, following the clubs' respective Champions League and Uefa Cup triumph's the season prior.

Diego Simeone's team must win by at least one goal at the Wanda Metripolitano tonight to give the them any hope of becoming the third Spanish side through to the quarter-finals.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said before he could see himself managing Inter Milan one day, having also played for the Italian side.

But his attention for now is on trying to knock them out of the Champions League.

"We will face probably one of the best teams in Europe," said the Argentine.

"But I trust in my players and my team and I know they are going to have a good game against a great opponent. It will be a match that requires very high concentration and whoever has it will win.

"I understand everything that is happening to us. Until the home game against Athletic we had a very good season, competing.

"In the last few games the team did not maintain the level it had been playing at and we hope to continue to grow from the lessons we have learned."

PSV are 10 points clear at the top in the Netherlands and have only suffered two defeats in any competition in over a year.

Those losses were 4-0 at Arsenal in September and 1-0 at Feyenoord in the Dutch Cup in January.

Both teams who beat PSV have something in common - a Timber twin. Jurrien missed Arsenal's win with his serious injury but Quinten scored the Feyenoord winner.
