Wonderful save, it really was. What a season he has had. That save is as good as any he's made all season. It's a super ball in, a great header and a wonderful save from Hladky.

Southampton clear another raid, and break with menace.

Flynn Downes rattles into Sam Morsy, and Stuart Armstrong races forward, tees up Adam Armstrong and then Che Adams, but his shot is wayward.

Downes and Morsy have a bit of silly afters. Will be one to focus on that.

    Jo Tessem

Ipswich come out and that tackle from Sam Morsy on Che Adams should have been a free-kick and possibly another yellow card. They have certainly raised the tempo.

Southampton have got to be up for this. We have got to stand up to it, this is proper football and I love it.

Millwall boss Neil HarrisImage source, Rex Features

Rock-bottom Rotherham secured a first win since Boxing Day with a 2-1 success against Millwall.

Lions boss Neil Harris was not pleased about any element of his side's day out in South Yorkshire.

"The first half was very scrappy, the atmosphere here was terrible and the referee was horrific," he told BBC Radio London.

"We did enough to win two or three games of football there.

"Second half we've made a dozen opportunities to score and rather than Rotherham win the game, we lost that game."

  11. Dodds slams 'unacceptable' Black Cats displaypublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 1 April

    FT: Sunderland 1-5 Blackburn

Interim Sunderland boss Mike Dodds said his side's performance was not acceptable in their shock 5-1 reverse at home by struggling Blackburn.

Rovers had only won once in the league since December prior to today but cruised to a thumping win on Wearside.

“It’s a bad result and probably an even worse performance. It’s completely unacceptable, and I don't take it lightly when I say that, it’s probably the best word I can find at the moment," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.

“Someone asked me if it’s a game to forget but it’s not a game to forget, it’s one we have to use to demonstrate to this young group that one week you think you’ve cracked it and then you get a complete humbling 48 hours later.

“I’m really, really angry and trying to use my words correctly.

“We can use the turnaround of games as an excuse, but there’s no excuse for that. We felt sorry for ourselves, there was a huge amount in the game that I didn;t like, in and out of possession, and Blackburn were deserved winners.

“That’s not acceptable for a club of this size and magnitude and as head coach I have to take responsibility for it.”

  12. Watford imposed themselves on game - Cleverleypublished at 18:30 British Summer Time 1 April

    FT: West Brom 2-2 Watford

Watford interim boss Tom CleverleyImage source, Rex Features

Interim Watford boss Tom Cleverley was pleased with his side's showing despite seeing them let a two-goal lead slip at West Brom.

"At this stage of the season performances have to count for a lot. A draw and a good performance, I see as a positive," he told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"But in the matter of which it has happened you can’t help but feel deflated. It is my job to pick the players up and if we sustain that level of performance, will be picking up a lot of points. “The first half was cagey, they are a really well coached side. They watched how we played on Friday and had a lot of rotations to come back that.

"I asked the lads to impose themselves on the game second half and that’s exactly what they did.

"Coming here and controlling the game is not an easy thing to do. I don’t think they could be any complaints if we won the game.”

  14. 'Saints look sharper'published at 18:26 British Summer Time 1 April

    HT: Ipswich 1-2 Southampton

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

Southampton have played well, they have looked just a little bit sharper than Town. Ipswich are playing against a good side.

We're meeting, for me, on the day, the most impressive team we've seen here this season. This is the most impressive 45 minutes I have seen from any team to be honest, Leeds, Leicester, we've seen them all.

We're in with a chance, it's only 2-1, and I can't stop thinking there is a mistake at the back in the Southampton defence. We have got to keep believing.

What a first-half, and it's Southampton who end it in the lead and the ascendancy.

Ipswich started well and had Leif Davis finger-breaker of a strike to put them ahead.

However, Saints replied within 60 seconds, as Che Adams pounced in the box to level.

Stuart Armstrong then put a goal on a plate for namesake Adam Armstrong for the lead.

Russell Martin was quickly across to Michael Salisbury at the whistle, as the Saints boss clearly didn't appreciate a few things despite the score.

Great game, excellent advert for the Championship.

Stuart Armstrong is in dinner suit mood tonight. Just stroking passes about with a proverbial cigar in his mouth.

The latest razor-like ball cuts Ipswich open like a surgeon at the back, but Jack Stephens is offside and the move comes to an end.

But he's lacerating them with his precision passes.
